  1. ASA rules in favour of Rangers FC in advertising dispute following appeal

The SFA further pointed out that, following RFC’s transfer to a new corporate owner, Newco did not take a new membership of the Scottish FA but rather that previous membership was transferred across to them so they could continue as the same member of the Scottish FA.

Didnt we have to start in div 3 because we didnt have our SFA membership? Sorry its been a long time in passing but If the SFA have confirmed we have the same membership why did we start in div 3?

  2. HMRC started taking aggressive actions against avoidance.

Yes but why only pursue us so vigorously, and not other clubs/companies,,, Arsenal? Vodafone? etc etc

Only after all of that, did those in Scottish football line up to take their kicks.

I didnt mention anything about others in Scottish football! But now you mention it. What about Focus (with its links to Celtic) complaining and having our away fans banned from ultimately a very important away match against Malmo in the champions league? Which if we would have won, with the help of our support being present could have possibly prevented the whole administration process!

Your right they did see their opportunity or was it all part of a master plan? Too many opportunities to be coincidences in my view!

  3. the only external debt due was the bank loan to Lloyds of £18m and the Wee Tax Case of £2.5m.

Administration was entirely avoidable except for the actions of HMRC. They played hardball and stalled and delayed and fought instead of coming to an arrangement. In the end they lost their case, but the damage had been done as our bankers refused to support us and no other bank would lend with the risk that was over us.

Meanwhile Hmrc have let other football teams/major companies off rather light considering they had a far bigger debt than our potential liability!! And some don't believe this was peddled by evil powers at be!!
  4. Dont understand the replies to this to be honest

In my opinion he was a patsy

Lloyds and SDM either knew of his intentions and turned a blind eye or instigated the whole thing and used him as a get out of jail card, it turned out too well for him and Lloyds not to mention Whyte

As for the whole EBT thing, funny how someone joins Celtic, totally banishes the scheme there and suddenly the pressure is cranked right on Rangers, set up? Fucking right it was

I agree with you cannon and Oleg!! We all know Murray was pushed to sell coz hmrc were pursuing (with excited help from the Celtic minded mhedia) a massive tax liability of up to £140m if u believe the press. Whoever was and still is pushing from hmrc and from Lloyd's at the time of sale might shed some light. Was there not a certain ex Home Secretarys name being banded about at one point? Maybe the link is there!!

All of this was a Celtic fans wet dream apart from the fact were still alive n kicking. But by fuck we were close far too close imo!! Swiss cheese effect,,, too many holes lining up for it not to be a set up!! Just look at their everyday ramblings and whinging over us, they were close to putting us out of business with help from high places and they're beeling the couldn't push us over the edge!! 100% set up. No surrender

  5. I dont understand why there has to be a choice, Bankers or Spivs.

    IMHO

Paul Murray and Malcolm Murray have alienated too much of the support to be other than damaged goods.

Brian Stockbridge does not have the fans trust.

Craig Mather does not have the Business track record for running massive companies like ours.

    So, what do we have?

A potential new chairman that knows the Businessman that have both investment and expertise. Lets rally round him and provide him with a united fan support to drive change.

    Well said mate!!
  6. i think anybody who was at the first game last year against east fife in the cup when we were at one of the lowest points in our history after the summer from hell proves we all have a passion for this club of ours that will not die, the journey to get where we want to be may be long but thousands worldwide are with us on it

I was at that match. I emigrated to Oz 7 years ago and because of the shit last year I bought 2 season tickets to help the club when I was back for a holiday. I went with my 60 year old da and I was probably about the same age as he was when he first took me to the Brox. To see the tears of joy running down his face when penny arcade was sung by 51,000 other bears realizing his my our team had survived will stay with me forever!! Only for East fife to score a penalty after 3 mins. Elation to deflation in 3 mins, that's when I realized the enormity of the journey ahead!! Then now forever NO SURRENDER!!!
  7. if green has no ties to the club, what about spilling the beans on the corrupt sfa and let the minutes of the meeting with regards to the 5 way agreement go public and let the rangers fans know what happened.what do you think guys.

This is a great idea!!! C'mon Charlie if u really want what's best for Rangers spill the beans!!!!
  8. And while this continues the other mob from the east are left alone in perfect harmony to get on with trying to qualify for the CL,the media are playing us for fools imo. Every week its negative stories and twists about us, but as the club statement says don't listen to the media anymore listen to the club for factual information.

  9. That game sticks out for me too. We were really up against it in 2nd half and the relief when Anderson scored twice ( I think in last 10 minutes ) was a huge . Also remember beating them one nill away ( Laudrup ) where a fox ran on the park. How we never won by five or six still amazes me with the sitters we missed !

The Van Vossen miss :anguish:, my da had laudrup first scorer and a 1-0 win that night and he won 360 quid :crabflute::cheers:
  10. Doesn't matter what we think of eachother. Put it to one side, for now at least, and focus on what matters most; Rangers. That is what unites us.

This^^^ Fucking sick of reading threads like these with replies like "it will never happen", "Too many fractions", "aye good luck with that" FFS in a time like this the only ones that I know that will stand up for the club is the fans! Are we READY? AYE READY WATP
