SNS GroupJS58558689.jpgDAVE KING today received the all clear from the Court of Session to take up a role on the new Rangers regime in a move he hopes will convince the SFA thats hes fit and proper to take over as chairman.

The South Africa based businessman had his credentials rubber-stamped at a hearing before Lord Woolman who rubber-stamped his application despite Kings involvement on the Ibrox board at the time of the oldcos liquidation in 2012.

Lord Woolmans verdict means King can press ahead with his plans to head up the clubs boardroom - but he must now wait for the top brass on Hampdens sixth floor to approve his proposed appointment.

The football authorities are still to make a decision on Kings suitability for directorship and there remains a chance they could freeze him out of the boardroom because of his previous tax convictions in Johanesburg.

But King hailed yesterdays decision in an Edinburgh court as the removal of the final legal hurdle in the process - before describing himself as the most scrutinised would be director in Scottish football history.

Fuck off Jackson u twat!!! You didn't even break the news first u fanny!!!
  2. We should just form another league with the lower league teams and get the SPFL to fuck.

Not that thats ever going to happen, we should just try and make everything the SPFL try to do as difficult as possible for them.

Im looking forward to going to places like Shittodrie etc when we get back up, but if there was an organized boycott of away grounds in the SPFL id back it, starve these cunts for a couple years. Then when half of them either die off or get relegated we can start going to away games to help the teams from the lower leagues that have came up to replace the relegated SPFL scumbag clubs. Ensuring they never get into the top tier again.

Bravo!!! This is 100% spot on imo!
  3. Personally I'd like us to become a footballing island. Shut ourselves off, turn up to games, do the obligatory meetings and interviews with no laughing/joking/pretend getting along. Fight every unfair decision without vitriol. Don't get dragged into debates, just say our piece and leave. Fans go to away games but don't spend a penny on pies or pints in the ground. I don't mean become a whipping boy, far from it, I mean cut out all the friendly ties. Become 100% business. Don't do any favours and expect none in return. Politely decline the use of our stadium for anything besides our own games. Adapt a philosophy of coaching/training/scouting that is as professional as it can possibly be and win so many games that it doesn't matter when dodgy refs give penalties to the opposition. Officially refute every attack against our club within 24 hours but calmly and sternly without any interviews to the rags. In fact no talking to the rags at all other than pure facts at a bare minimum. Quietly cut ties to all explayers who do talk to them. No tea and biscuits for journos who have to come over the threshold of ibrox. Just in then out. No dinner invites for anyone who has ever attacked our club. Whenever anyone tries to drag us into telling them why we've made a decision, politely refuse to respond. Whenever the spl ask us to send a rep or player for some publicity event, politely refuse. Whenever anyone from another team asks for vip tickets, explain we are already at capacity. Whenever a player gets a Scotland call up explain they aren't friends and over familiarity will be frowned upon. Don't contribute to any organisation or scheme that brings us into association with any other Scottish team. Build on our friendly ties with other British and European teams. Talk to other UK and continental press more than anyone within two hundred miles. Don't loan players to anyone in the top tier. No laughing and joking with opposition in the tunnel or after the game. Don't pay money for players from opposition teams. Only pre-contracts. Assume every invite, discussion or proposal is designed to harm us and politely refuse them all. Give them not one inch without ever coming down to their level.

^^^ this!! I absolutely fucking love this!!!
  4. By far the biggest push would be sorting out the managerial situation.

Everything about McDowell is toxic. The atmosphere in that dressing room has us a goal down before we take to the pitch.

The funds must be found to bring someone in now to give him time to prepare for all the "out of contract" duds leaving in the summer and to have replacements ready whether they are Bosmans or youths promoted from Auchenhowie.

Even with this shite squad we will make the play-offs as long as they are motivated and coached properly.

    ^^^^^^ this all day long!!!
  5. The next time a rangers manager plays a 5-4-1 he should be sacked the next morning, I fucking despise it!!! Let's get more creative ffs we've been playing this formation for years and tbh we haven't mastered it, cowards tactics. From kids up 5-4-1 should be banned forever!!

  6. After that backing from the fans today it really does show that we need to man for man be back at ibrox and get behind the team!! I know we are dreadful atm and we all have different views at boardroom level but today proves that when the fans are together we really are the people!!! End the boycotts and get your money into the club to help us prepare for next season!!!

  7. I'm sure that HMRC are hoping these pesky Rangers fans will quitely fade away if they are repeatedly ignored. As has been stated above, not one journalist or one newspaper in Scotland has seen fit to raise this matter in public. If this was a major industrial company this was happening to, you would bet your arse that these papers and media would be screaming from the rooftops and that high profile MP/MSP's would be involved in the furore. The fact that such as Lord Nimmo Smith has highlighted significant evidence was removed from HMRC's case files should be enough for any Govt dept to initiate a full scale enquiry as to how these case files entered the public domain via certain blogs and media. But strangely this has not been the case. We, Rangers fans, should be continuing to hound these Govt depts and civil servants until such light is shone on the murkier aspects of the misdeeds perpetrated on our club by those within HMRC and those outside HMRC with their own agendas against our club have been publicly identified and charged. Never forgive, never forget.

Agree 100% mate. If the boardroom bullshit wasn't going on at the moment I'd think a lot more bears would be pursuing answers from the government. Let's hope we can sort the boardroom out ASAP and turn our attention to this!!
