Adelaide is Englands best chance of winning a test on this tour, if they can bowl under the lights hopefully Anderson and Broad can get it swinging. If they lose the next test I fear it could be another whitewash.

I’ve got the highlights recording each morning. Off on Friday so will stay up on Thursday night for some of it. Up to Dundee on Friday so will watch it when I get back from that. Probably pished and not remember any of it

Looks like Ball is going to be fit for tomorrow. Think England will line up
1. Cook 2. Stoneman 3. Root 4. Vince 5. Malan 6. Bairstow 7. Moeen 8. Woakes 9. Broad 10. Ball 11. Anderson
I can see Root going in at 3 this series considering how vulnerable the battling line up looks.
Anyone see the news about Broad getting hit by a stray golf ball when he was on the putting green on their day off?
Probably some Aussie aiming for him!

Everyone except Mooen wearing a poppy, I’ve no issue with him If he doesn’t want to wear one , but for them to come out and say his poppy fell off is laughable and if that’s the case the photographer would have picked up on it and offered another one.
Seen some stuff about that. There are photos of him arriving in Australia with a poppy on.

I get that the money goes to club etc but like With Heart & Hand said if they sold them at £30 a pop they would sell a hell of a lot more. No chance I am paying £60 for one.

Played in the Winter league omn saturday and was 5 down after 10 (giving 11 strokes away) but played the last 9 in level par and managed to half the match - dormy 3 as well. The other guy was vomiting. On sunday met a guy at the first tee and played against him - giving away 9 strokes and was 3 down after 4 but again bounced back for a 3&2 victory.
lesson - I need to stop drinking the night before golf
Know the feeling mate, I was standing over putts yesterday with the jakey shakes!
