  1. My opinion of McLeish is he got the best out of the squad he inherited. But when it came to bringing in his own players he fucked it right up.

Given that we don't have the funds for massive spending, and therefor need to get the best out of what we've got I'd seriously consider McLeish.

Hopefully, we do finish second my worry would be how we collapsed at the end of last season, we need to finish second or we are fucked we have to much debt out and are gambling on Europe to survive.

Not sure about gambling on Europe. Firstly I'm not convinced we'll be allowed to compete. But even if we do I really can't see us getting through 4 ties before the group stages.

So I don't see a massive amount of additional revenue. The main thing Europe will do is convince some unhappy Bears to renew STs

But if King doesn't put in some money soon, then I think it'll take more than a few games against FC Whothefukryu, to get all the fans to cough up again

  3. That's the vallue of alcohol. I've had a few bad falls - although not as serious as that looked- when steaming and just bounced off of the stairs, pavement etc.

But sober? Every fall has taken it's toll. Sprained ankle, broken wrist, stiches in the napper, etc etc.

So I never worry about falling over with a drink in me. But I lose sleep at night thinking I might fall over when sober.

Although I counter that by not being sober too often

I think we have made a lot of Rangers players and Managers rich, why do they not get a consortium together who could take the team they claim to love forward.

If we had a more trustworthy chairman, they might well do that, but they're not going to give money to King

No questions don't lose their validity but if you want them heard, and indeed answered, we need them asked in the right quarters by the right people. Because of the media's current relationship with us it would be too easy to pass any difficult cross-examination off as mischief making thereby letting DK off the hook. We need to have him pressed by the people he dare not ignore, the same people he needs yearly to buy the season books, the ones that have invested already and will do so again.

Exactly, so let's hoist him by his own petard.

One of the reasons he got in, was the fans boycott. So let's make it clear to him, that if he doesn't pony up, we won't either.

Unfortunately I don't believe that the media are ever motivated to do us a service and asking "pertinent" questions are thinly veiled attempt's at keeping us down and having a go. They will be happiest when they create dissension and animosity within our ranks. Questions need asked and answered, the media just isn't the conduit for it. Our own forums, representatives (I know) and shareholders are the mediums to be utilised I'd suggest.

Does a valid question lose it's vallue because the questioner is deemed worthless. Not in my opinion.

We need to be told the truth and I don't care who prompts that.

What about "Sons of Struth demand the truth". Well demand away guys, or are you too busy printing "Leipzig T shirts" ?

No I'm worried we have a media that go out of their way to be negative in every way conceivable about Rangers. DK and his history are only one example of what they will use to put us down.

I have no love for the Scottish Media, but I think they would be doing us a greater dis-service if the didn't raise pertinent questions.

It is obvious that there will be no investment under King, unless it comes from King.

He needs to start pissing, or move away from the urinal.

You believe that there is a campaign being waged to enable investment in Rangers? By whom? In my experience the press don't do us any such favours so I'd have thought their intention was to highlight our weaknesses and scare off potential investors.

We have a chairman who is a convicted fraudster. Who has been described as a "glib and shameless liar"

And you're worried that the media might scare off investors ?

True, we aren't challenging them currently, but we are the only ones with the capability, given investment. No-one else did in our absence.

"Given investment". That's the key and we need to KNOW if King is going to do it. It SEEMS obvious that he isn't, but he needs to make it clear one way or another.

A lot of people are saying "there's nobody else". That's crap. Vacuums don't exist outside of controlled environments. If the current board are ousted others will fill the void.

The question is will they be better or worse. Well unless King delivers in the next two weeks I'm prepared to take the gamble.

King needs to pony up, or get on the pony and fuck off.

So, if not Rangers, then who should be challenging the mhanks? No-one has gotten near them in our absence. So it's not a question of "right" but of capability, nobody else is able. We are the only ones though that seem to see this, the rest delude themselves. We can't roll over and accept second, it's not in our DNA. No Surrender. Remember that.

The problem is we're not challenging them. Last season the won by 15 points I'm not sure how far ahead they were in Jan but I'll bet it was a lot less than 19 going on 22 points.

Far from being competition to them we are competition to the teams chasing them.

Now I accept it's early days and we need to build, but what's going to make us more credible challengers next season? There's nothing that I can see.

So King needs to tell us what he sees

  11. I agree with him to an extent.

It seems obvious that King isn't going to pump £30m into the club. At best it will be more loans. So he needs to just be honest with us.

What exactly is his game. Is he hopping that res 11 will eventualy be passed, is he hoping that we'll be able to punt a few players for large fees?

At present our income doesn't cover costs. I don't see how we can reduce costs further without going backwards on the pitch. I don't see how we can increase revenue at a greater rate than costs even with Europa football.

So King should just tell us what his plan is. If - as it seems to be- it's a case of hoping something will turn up, then he should at least say so.

Snowing in Leipzig just now. We got a carry out yesterday, as we got told by a German bear we met that supermarkets are closed on Sundays, & trying to get served in a pub last night was a nightmare, so when all the bears come into Leipzig today, it'll be impossible. So if you see a bunch of guys with a shopping trolley full of beer, come & say hello, that'll be us, we might even give you a beer My mates got the trolley full with beer in his hotel room just now.

Shops in the main station should be open
