in what way? maybe its time we started playing dirty like the tarriers did for years to cement their powerhold over the game, do you honestly think they would have sat back and accepted a team behaving the way motherwell did today

yes its sour grapes, yes we should be more up for a fight, but lets not kid ourselves, motherwell could easily have had 2 or 3 red cards, the ref let them away with stuff that would get you a night or a weekender in the cells if me or you did that in the town centre

Aye we should play dirty only problem is out team are a bunch of poofs

FFS, give this one a rest - he never shat it, he's fucking Portuguese, best pals with Ronaldo who has his own personal physio despite being an employee of Real Madrid but prefers him/her over his clubs personnel and was only too happy to make his/her services available to Alves.

Was ready a few days later to play for Portugal tho

    That's a bit harsh mate.

Anyway it's Pedro who picks him, Pena and all the other failures today.

He just infuriates me. He’s the biggest shite bag in the team, worse than Mckay and he actually thinks he’s a good player too. Fuck him he should never have been signed in the first place.

We can't afford to sack him. He's wasted far too much money.

The sad reality is, we're not even the second best team in the country.

Tell me the truth mate, are we even the third best in the country? Hibs scores more goals cannot the taigs yesterday in 1 game than we have since Pedro took over.

Taking that title from the scum will not happen under any manager, until the board provide us with the quality to match them. That is the nature of the game.

Coming second is unacceptable, but many appear to have accepted that, in being a better second. However, that is the king/board aspiration as the level of investment reflects. He will achieve that and that will equal him staying, unless the majority wish to take the fight to the board directly to release more funds, then second we will remain.

We need a manager of at least and sad to say it, of BR stature, but we cannot afford it, along with the neccessary player funds to make the difference. There is not a manager in Scotland who can touch him. Domestically he just keeps grinding out those results. However, the run has to end sometime and I am looking for it to be this cup final against us!

In saying all that, if Pedro had those funds, I'm confident he could do it in the league.

Pedro has the funds to finish second like you say, it’s not acceptable to want second, but we won’t finish second under him

Difference is, I'm up front. That team were dross. The manager was found out in the worst possible way. As for the board, king in particular, that protected criminal species, remains in power and remains a glib and shameless liar and that he will always remain, as his criminal record bears testament to.

As for Pedro, he has the passion and does his best. Wether it's good enough remains to be seen, but IMHO, we will do second no problem, meeting king's aspirations in coming second as was budgeted for and maybe a bonus in taking this cup, as the scum have a serious fault line in defence, that on the day, we can exploit.

Pedro may be many things, but he has the integrity, the honesty and the passion, wearing his heart on his sleave. Maybe naive at times, but I can do that all day long as opposed to the chancers and jealous snake like bastards that appear to thrive in this backwater. We will flourish again, but it won't be with any help from the haters in this backwater.

And for me, Pedro is a welcome and positive deflection from all that is wrong with this shithole.

    So, who were you before?

I’ve not changed, I still want what’s best for my club, I still want us to stop 10 in a row and I do not think second place is a correct level of aspiration for a club like Rangers (Pedro won’t get us there anyway)  I also don’t see Pedro as a Positive and from the 6 months he’s been here I’ve made my mind up that he is not good enough. If you haven’t that’s fine with me but my opinion will not change up until the day he closes the gap on the Taigs, not going to happen under him either sadly.

You either back our manager or buy into the "look at the funny foreigner" routine that the Scottish press like to portray.

It's a no brainer for me.

That being said,he MUST win today at all costs

Those aren’t the only two options

Oh well, just before the game, the usual haters givng it large in what was nothing wrong in what Pedro said.

Then the usual snake disappears awaiting the response.

Fucking spineless behaviour of the malcontented.

What the fuck you on about snakes for?

What's that got to do with being addicted to winning?

He has a winning mentality and isn't afraid to express himself. Breath of fresh air imo.

I didn’t say it did, I was saying to the other poster who thought we’d won 3 games on the trot that Pedro has not achieved this yet. I haven’t slated Pedro In this thread yet so please don’t speak to me like I have.

he's so fucking cringeworthy. wish he would shut up. We've won something like 3 games in a row whats he on?

No wonder the media ridicule him, he deserves it with the nonsense he talks

He hasn’t won 3 games in a row since e got here

  11. Pedro Caixinha insists he's as addicted to winning as a vampire is to blood

Portuguese desperate to get his hands on first bit of silverware with the Ibrox club as the Light Blues get set for Betfred Cup semi final action against Motherwell.

Pedro Caixinha insists he’s addicted to winning like a vampire is addicted to blood.

And once he has the first taste of silver at Rangers, all he’ll want is more.

The colourful Ibrox manager is out to sink his fangs into Motherwell this afternoon and take a step closer to the first silverware of the season, the Betfred League Cup.

Asked what it would mean to Rangers’ momentum, the Portuguese boss said: “It means it is only the first one.

“The vampires taste the flavour of the blood and they want more, they need it.

“It’s the same with the competitive teams and clubs, competitive players and competitive managers. They like the way the blood tastes.

“I did it at Santos Laguna in Mexico and it’s like a sort of addiction, you know?

“People are addicted to smoking or eating good or playing sport. I am an addict to the win – that’s why I work so hard because my focus is to win.

“And if the addict doesn’t get his fix? Keep working.

Caixinha revealed he got a taste for winning during his time with Santos Laguna(Image: Getty)

“I was addicted to winning when I started coaching and started with the Under-14s, it was on the inside of me.

“After that, I went to the Under-17s and it was the same. Then I went to the Under-19s, then an amateur team then Sporting of Lisbon.

“I went all the way as an assistant wanting to win.

“Next I went to a lower team in the Portuguese league and my desire was winning. That’s my essence.”

To do it, they’ll need to get by a Motherwell side only a point behind them in the Premiership and riding high on a run of eight games with only one defeat.

The sides haven’t met since the first day of the season when Caixinha questioned the
physicality of the Fir Park side after the 2-1 win for Rangers.

But the manager insists he won’t fight fire with fire this afternoon.

He said: “No, I’m not that type of guy. In the time of the cowboys, we used to say ‘eye by eye and teeth by teeth’. But we need to be clever. I don’t think we will be fighting fire with fire or sword with sword, exactly the opposite.

“If they are strong, we need to avoid giving them the chance. They are only strong when they have the initiative in the game and when they have the ball.

“We know they are going to perform like that, so we have to make sure that we use our movement, our identity and our style. We have learned from that first match.

You keep saying we should replace him but you haven't said who with. You can forget anyone who is under contract as no way we are paying off Pedro and paying compensation to another club

I have, scroll back. There are plenty of good managers out of contract and there were even more when we first appointed him but as I’ve also said already it doesn’t matter who I want to replace him because he’s not gonna leave under any circumstances this season.

Our support expects and demands us to win every game we play It doesn't matter if we win the competition or not.  In fact, it can be mathematically impossible for us to win the competition as it was with the league last season and our support still expect victories.  Now, Pedro said a game doesn't matter if we don't win the competition so would you accuse him of not caring?

No, he’s saying if they don’t win the competition then winning that game means nothing and he’s right. I can’t watch our win vs the taigs at hampden a couple years ago without thinking how we fucked it against hibs. I’ve no idea how any Rangers fan can say they don’t Care about us winning a game tbh.
