  1. the atmosphere is pretty dire at ibrox most of the time to be honest. i can only remember a handful of games where it's been great. most people just plank their arses on the chair and moan. maybe sing a line or two of a song when they feel like it. only when we are winning comfortably does the atmosphere increase.

the away support often shows us up to be honest. it's a real disappointment. the union bears are the only ones giving it their all for 90 mins.

  2. Us vs Parma at Ibrox was the first Rangers game I went to. What memories. I was in absolute awe at the sight of our stadium and to this day I still get excited and feel like a little kid when I walk up those stairs and out into the seating area. It's like a home away from home now.

Glad he has happy memories of our magnificent stadium too.

  3. still can't get over the thought that steven gerrard is our manager. what he's done so far is incredible.

i genuinely think the board have struck gold getting him appointed. he's a world famous and iconic player which no doubt gets more people talking about us in a world where most people are only interested in english/spanish football. this is his first management job and just look at our european performance! if you'd have told me we'd be not only be in the group stages but sitting at the top of our group then i'd have laughed at you. i went into this season just hoping we'd not get pumped out at the first round after that showing up by Progres but here we are...

after all the shite we've been through and with these kind of performances out of a new team you can't really blame us for being optimistic and positive but i think gerrard might end up being one of the most famous managers in the world. the reality is we're likely just a stepping stone for him before he moves on to Liverpool and elsewhere. if things keep going as they are then the club seriously needs to look at giving him a longer contract. either way whatever happens we should just enjoy whatever time he has with us. there's something special about him... not as just a player but a manager. he's already showing up his Liverpool manager by performing better in europe ??

  4. Fairweather fans. When things are good they'll crawl out their hole. If things go downhill you'll see them disappear.

You stick with your club through the good and bad.

Now of course there will be people who genuinely never followed us before but there are definitely a lot of people who are only interested when things are going well.

  5. Nothing new. When it's going good then everyone is happy and any cunt who tries to be realistic or ruin the feeling is hounded. When it goes downhill then everyone turns on the players/manager and acts like it's the end of the world.

We've improved significantly but there is still a lot of work to do.

  6. Whoever threw the coin is a wee fanny. No need for that shite. Not a Rangers fan in my opinion if that's how you behave at a match. Hope they get banned from football matches for life. The wee cunt let down himself, the fans, and the club.

  7. not making an excuse for plastic pitches because they should not be allowed but they do exist within our league so we need to play on them. we should be using our plastic pitch at auchenhowie to train on it. these guys are professionals so surely they can practice and not put themselves at any risk.

  8. we can but i don't know if we will. fuckin hope it does happen though.

hopefully that lot take their time getting into any kind of form, that hearts slow down, and we give some of the more difficult teams a good skelping. i'm not gonna get too carried away right now cause we're only 6 games in, same points as hibs/livingston and only 1 point in front of kilmarnock/celtic.

all we can do is take it game by game, fight for all 3 points, and try get into 1st place as soon as possible or at least put some kind of gap between us and 3rd place.

  9. You're telling me it's hard to get a signal in an area where there are 50,000 people gathered and likely all, if not the majority, of them have a phone on them?

I've never got a signal inside Ibrox but doesn't bother me cause I don't go to games to stare at my fucking phone.
