It has worked out brilliantly for us in the past (see PRSO, Boumsong), so I dont see why we dont try and go for more of those then we have in the last few seasons?!True, we have had our fair share of duds especially in the Mcleish era, but its not as if we're paying a high fee or anything and its a low-risk kinda thing. BlueSuedeSambas 54,378 Posted November 21, 2010 Share Posted November 21, 2010 Bosman signings are in a position to demand ridicilous signing on fees and wages and that makes them a far less attractive option that most people think.Take Joe Cole for example. everybody went on about how getting him on a "free" would be a great piece of business even though Liverpool gave him a signing on fee of about 5 million a 4 year deal worth 90k a week.
