Step Up And Play.

So we've had no football this week other than our Under 19's notching up a well-deserved 1-0 victory, reaching the Scottish Youth Cup Final for the 5th time in succession. Well done lads.

Whilst the Youths were running themselves into the ground, their "big brothers" were enjoying a well-earned rest from the rigours of league and Cup football, and with such a small squad.

So next week it's back to the grind, and hopefully another 3 points against a half decent Dundee Utd team, who seem to be playing a bit better in the 2nd half of the season than they did in the 1st.

This is followed by something like 6 games in 18 days! Thanks very much once again SFA/SPL for doing your damndest to stop us winning the League once again.

But hey, things are not all doom and gloom!

A wee break this week will have done most of our squad the world of good, and in my opinion, if we take 4 wins and 2 draws from these 6 games in 18 days (no defeats!!!!!) we'll still be in a decent position by the time the taigs arrive on the doorstep of Ibrox with their multi-national, multi-cultural squad. They will also drop points.

We'll have another wee break before going into the post split games as we have already played Kilmarnock, which should have been our last game before the split.

I think we'll have 3 home and 2 away after the split as well, probably away to Kilmarnock and Motherwell/ICT/St Johnstone, with home ties against Hearts, Dundee Utd and septic.

So to summarise - a wee break the noo, followed by 6 games in 18 days, another wee break, and then 3 homes and 2 aways after the split. Throw in the defeat of septic at Ibrox among those games, and we'll be Champions again!

Off for the Summer knowing we're the 3IAR Champs, re-charge the batteries, and get back tae supporting the club we all love with Super Ally at the helm.

Time tae Step Up And Play folks.

Now where's that guy Whyte............................................................................
