A new DIY idea for the Red/Black fundraising.

Recommended Posts

With the sales of red and black scarves increasing, I was elated at the success of the venture, but with the talk of £2.50 of the purchase price NOT going to Rangers, I was thinking we could do things better.

With this in mind, I thought that making a DIY scarf would be good, if we could then donate the whole tenner to the Gers.

I've got my old Rangers socks from 1964 out, and have tied them together to make a nice scarf. The old socks are woollen, so the scarf is nice and warm, but the knot tying them together is a bit uncomfortable on my neck when I'm driving. Nevertheless, the scarf looks great.

I would urge everyone to donate the tenner to Rangers, and make themselves a cracking scarf from their old Rangers socks.

It's the way forward.
