Fury 256
OK, Accept that. Do you believe that now is time then for the rst to make a statement (forexample) that they are the medium to long term "offering" and that for day to day, fight by fight action (sounds almost porny!) a different group/set of supporters need to step up to defend our club, our fans our culture our whatever?Theres a thread from Keevins today for example, which is the usual about the Rangers...it has been for years and has and is never defended against. We allow lie after lie after lie to be perpetuated and never challenged. The rst should perhaps push for there goals, but maybe step aside and support a day to day group or agenda come to the fore? I dont know but as a mere mortal, I'm frustrated by zero defence...(or that perception)The RST and other groups have at times made decent attempts to address the issues you talk about. It shouldn't really be down to the fans though, it should be dealt with by the club. Recent signs with the BBC ban and a legal letter to the DR are encouraging.I do agree to an extent. The RST should focus on building their shareholding. But if they step into a gap nobody else is filling then I don't think they should be criticised. Personally I'd like to see a club membership scheme.
