The most frustrating part of our return

It’s noted by most sensible Rangers fans that our return was going to be a slow one, even if we had barely finished second in the last two seasons not many would be too disgruntled, it seems to be an absolute myth we are spoiled and demand too much.

How can anyone justify spending 6+ million (including wages) on Pena, Herrera, Barton, Senderos, Niko etc considering that 6+ million was what we had practically begged the board to spend this summer at most?

People can say what they like but as a fan base we pour more money into the club than any other in Scotland and have consistently shown even if times get tough we will stick together.

It’s sickening that we are relying on a board that would rather get ten krancjkars for free than one or two Morelos’ types by pushing the boat out, we are the punching bag of taigfest Scotland yet sit in complete silence and look to have had absolutely no plan whatsoever with regard to our return to the top and then after.

It really isn’t hard to know that leaving yourself with one starting player in every attacking position (some of whom aren’t even good enough) is a suicidal move, who’s ego is honestly big enough to trust a young unproven striker, a dud budget target man from mexico and a proven waster in Pena to carry out our most important season ever or to continually make such huge risks in terms of managerial appointments after a season beforehand that proves risks rarely work and this isn’t football manager.

Fingers crossed this board leaves by next season and we find someone who can atleast slowly close the gap with an actual plan, we don’t need mega millions, we need a board who speak for the fans, appoint the best option at all times with regards to players and managers and that do not lie down to anyone if justified, that really isn’t as hard as some think despite our troubles, we aren’t asking for much at all.

Despite our board being so out of touch we have still attracted some fantastic signings on paper and have proven no matter what our name still matters, this alone is proof enough steady second until celtic find champions league qualification impossible and the playing field evens isn’t a big ask at all.

About time we stopped taking no for an answer and from fan base to boardroom hate everyone that tried to kill us and together make our way back to the top, slowly and with a plan.

fuck building bridges.

This board won’t be leaving but some of the Bears will, our club is fucked and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Be a case of they go or we do eventually.

People can lie and continue to say we have no money or whatever but they’ve wasted 10+ million on players and staff since we have returned.

Its embarrassing that a club so big has so many fans who are able to point out mistakes the board and players/staff make on a daily basis yet they’ve never once saw that themselves and addressed it.

Still think the big shock comes in the coming years when celtic find out the hard way the big boys don’t give a fuck about them and they become another Scottish club with no cash, no European football and no voice in the game.

we will catch up with them then rather than now imo.
