Walter Smith's Worst Nightmare

The general consensus seems to suggest so.

He's now in a bit of a catch-22 situation for me.

If he leaves now and we go on to have a poor season, people will point the finger at him for being the architect of such a poor pre season which ultimately set us up for failure.

If he stays, well, i just see him making things worse for himself. With trips to Pittodrie, The Falkirk Stadium and Parkhead, i just dont see him getting anything from these games with the squad at his disposal coupled with the lack of transfer funds.

Walter only has himself to blame.

He gave new contracts to 2 tired old players.

He chased a lost cause for 2 months in Davis without looking elsewhere leaving us short in midfield.

He plays a system that only works when you have class defenders not Dailly,Broadfoot and Weir.

He buys 3 new strikers and plays 1 up front with strikers in midfield and the wing with Defenders in midfield too.

I'm sorry but Walter need to swing the axe TODAY and chop at least 5 of last nights starting line up or to me he will become the manager who LOST the UEFA cup and 2 league titles and not the 9 in a row hero i always admired.
