Boyd and Mhanky McDonald would be too similar to play together if you ask me. They would be fighting for the same spaces in the centre and causing us to lack even more width. For instance in a few years time Edu may be worth a whole lot more than we paid for him. But we have him on a 5 year contract. And Mendes and Ferguson are both aging. So we have their replacment learning what it is to be a Rangers player before he actually fits into the team. And we get him at a reduced price.
