DC Blue 12 Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 I remember a few months back, Martin Bain came out with a statement that Walter had provided him with names that he wanted to target for this new season. We are now almost 2 months into the transfer window and all we have signed are 3 strikers, not an area of the team that I felt was a major necessity given the lack of quality in other areas. What I can't understand is if we had this list of targets, why don't we get them signed up as early as possible, enable them to start pre-season training with the team, helping them get to know the squad and gel better. Instead we will end up with a few last minute panic buys or loans who will add nothing but an additional financial burden to the club. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
