you wouldn't mess with big Harold reading stories about him i dont know if this is true but when i was in the townhead supporters bus there was a great character called stevie who tells a story of slim jim showboating in a european game at Ibrox and not playing the simple pass, at half time big Harold got Baxter by the shirt pinned against the wall more or less telling him not to do it again. i dont know if this story was true but if it was epitomises big harold.

my absolute hero theirs 2 people i would love to meet before i shuffle of this mortal coil John Greig and Sir Walter. In the mid 70s i sent a picture addressed to John Greig Edmiston House Glasgow with a picture of john Greig from the goal magazine i think asking for it to be signed and put in stamp for return post lol got it back signed and still have it 🤗
