Last time I'm going to reply to any of this. celtic obviously didn't specify 'jolly' when they applied for permission to travel. It's been declared as a business trip. You can argue all you like that it's a load of bullshit, and you'd be right, but from a legal standpoint theyve done nothing wrong and they've been given full permission from the government to travel. It's now a moral argument. I can't understand why people on here are raging about celtic going to Dubai. Who gives a fuck what they do?

It's about tiers mate, not council areas. Both Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire have always been in the same tier and the entire mainland has been in Tier 4 since Boxing Day.

Travelling for work is the official reason. However, it's not illegal to travel for any reason you like. It's advice, not law. They're not checking people on the flights from Glasgow to Dubai to confirm that their visit is essential.

Mate, like it or not there is nothing to stop people travelling to and from Dubai, including the celtic squad. Morally wrong, yes, but nothing illegal or against covid rules.
