Rangers announce Ibrox partnership with Gordon Ramsay
Johnnyem replied to Loyal72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
A big improvement on the last Ramsay we signed up with. -
Is the next line up setting the tone for future?
Johnnyem replied to MongolHorde's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
No matter where anyone is going, MB has to pick his strongest team. We play every game throughout the season to gain 3 points, that does not ever change. -

How come Fat Ange is at the game and Michael Beale isn't, he should be there encouraging our players surely? -

I was expecting big things from Lovelace, but not all that impressed with him so far. -
Summer will see the biggest changes at Rangers in years
Johnnyem replied to Loyal72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We played well today, better than I expected, and but for some bad luck we might have gotten a result. The biggest difference for me and the reason we were beaten, was not because they had better quality players but because they had 11 fully committed players, a team effort, and we were carrying passengers that detracted from our performance. There are certainly changes needed and it has got to be MB that sorts this out for next season, there is really no alternative to that. -

I thought we played well and were unlucky. We lack a clinical striker and they have a winning mentality that we cannot match right now. However we are not all that far behind them despite their financial superiority and I am hopeful that we can improve enough next season to challenge and get the better of them. -

I'm not looking forward to the game. I've been delaying any comments because I do tend to get more optimistic as the game approaches, but not this time. I've got hope but no confidence whatsoever. If only hope could win you matches. -

I just listened to our manager on SKY and he spoke very well to be honest. He also said that next week's game is totally different from todays, that today's result has no bearing on that, and in that he is totally correct. We shouldn't therefore be writing ourselves off for next week, as some on here already have. We can still get a result at Hampden. -
It is obvious that a gap exists. albeit not a huge one, and it will need to be bridged next season. We will bring in 4/5 players and they will do the same. It will then boil down to who bought the better quality recruits and which manager can get the best out of them. Until that happens trying to predict the outcome is impossible. We have a lot to look forward to though as MB goes for it with a renewed vigour.

I'm actually dreading this game a bit today as just so many things could go wrong. St Mirren are not a bad team to begin with, they will fight for everything and so it will also depend on our attitude, after last week's defeat, how we cope with them. I'm also worried about the officials who might well have an agenda against us after the Clancy fall out from last week. We need to get back in the saddle again and start winning immediately, bit this is going to be a tough one. Hopefully my concerns are ill founded and we come through it in style.

I was surprised both teams finished with 11 men, with all those bookings I was certain there would be at least one sending off. -

It could have went either way at one stage, disappointed with the result but I wasn't disappointed with our commitment. -

At the end of the day, we need 100% effort from every player in the team.....and a large slice of luck would also help. -
So far, how much would you pay for Malik Tillman?
Johnnyem replied to Bad Robot's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Bayern have obviously set a fee that they will find acceptable and as long as we are agreeable to that sum it should be a done deal. Let's be positive about it. -
okay I misread it, I get it now, apologies.

I could have sworn it was 2-2 at one stage, I must have been watching a different game?

I'm expecting a tough game today, we have to be at our best and not take Motherwell for granted -
Tit for tat with the other mob over allocations
Johnnyem replied to Loyal72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I agree, what we have now is a watered down version of the real thing, from colour TV to black and white TV, it's not nearly as appealing as before. -
Agreed, it is controversial and inflammatory, a red rag to a bull, no need for it.
