RAE!? According to Radio Scotland. Still to be confirmed by the club. As for Barry, I can't say if it's the right decision till I hear the reason. Presumably Rae will play v Well and (no offence to the guy) but that wouldn't be my choice of replacement for Barry in the team let alone as captain.

It was all facts about Eck..no over praising just pointing out facts and achievements No it wasn't. McLeish's January buys (i.e. Boyd) didn't help us make the CL last 16 - we had already done that. And to call Eck "a master of the mid-season spree" is not a fact. It's an opinion and in my opinion a pretty ridiculous one, even though I do appreciate what Eck did for the club. As for "Richard Brittain and Garry Brady won the midfield contest hands-down", don't think so.

A harsh assessment to say the least. And over-praises McLeish (even though I think he did a good job for us overall) - Boyd didn't help us qualify for the last 16 of the CL for example.

1. Chairman. Will any club ever spend tens of millions in the SPL again? Unlikely unless there's some mad sugar daddy around. 2. Manager. He was sent tapes of all our games (plus reserve games etc) last season. His performance so far has been poor but it's still early days. B) 3. Players. Lack of funds means lower quality. Lack of confidence can look like lack of commitment. I don't think anyone, including PLG, would now believe we don't need to add to the squad - but they have to be the right players, not signings for the sake of it.

It's up to the youth coaches to teach the under-15s. As I understand it, Jim Sinclair is in charge of youth development and I'd be surprised if Le Guen picked him out (though he may well have agreed to him coming in). It is presumably Sinclair who is mainly responsible for bringing in guys like Kernaghan and Tommy Wilson.

I'd try Prso on the left with Boyd and Novo up front, giving Adam a rest. (Deride if you want. B) ) If Prso is to play up front I'd see if Boyd could feed off him.

Svensson - ?600k Papac - ?300k (and Smith who cost 0 is better) Sionko - 0 (Bosman) Ferguson - taken in more than we've paid out Clement - ?1m Adam - 0 (Youth) Novo - ?450k Boyd - ?400k Total: ?2.75m (subtract the profit on Barry if you like!)

(Bearing in mind that I missed the first 15 mins or so due to a transport f***-up) McGregor 6 - didn't have all that much to do, made a bad mess of one easy cross, I'm told he was blameless at the goal Hutton 6 - mostly played OK, some good runs, some poor technique Svensson 6 - mostly played OK, one bad mistake Hemdani 6 - played better at CB than previously, not sure there was all that much threat especially in the air Papac 6 - had a decent game (wasn't great, wasn't awful) Sionko 5 - worked hard, didn't get into the game enough Clement 6 - put in a good shift (generally wins the ball well when on his feet but doesn't cope well with the sliding tackle, no real creative input) Ferguson 7 - put in another great shift, could get worn out trying to carry the team Adam 5 - did some good things and some bad things Novo 5 - worked hard as usual but technical deficiencies glaringly evident Boyd 6 - got a goal, missed another good chance Sub: Burke 3 - not sure he's match fit yet Non-appearance: Prso - badly missed (but you can't rely on one man - especially one with dodgy knees)

The knighthood is for his business work. He has done fantastically well after losing his legs then (IIRC) losing his wife to cancer.

PLG obviously has other plans. B) Personally I hope they don't include persisting with Hemdani at CB.
