Fellow Bears, After noticing a post in FF about this 2 weeks ago and staying not too far from the Port I wrote to my local Councillor who copied in the Port Glasgow Councillors regarding my disgust at this Vile Sectarian Graffiti. To make matters worse and what is missing from the articles is the fact that myself and the OP from FF both got the following response from Inverclyde Council. We were told from an employee there that it was not the responsibility of the Council to remove this graffiti and we were to contact the buildings owners (a company in London). I was disgraced at this and asked why they should not contact the company and offer to remove the graffiti for them as it was offensive and they still refused. After doing some digging it was to no surprise to find the council worker who we were dealing with pictured on social media in c*ltic colour with her son at P@rkheid. Good on Councillor Wilson for sticking up for the Bears in Inverclyde!

The Brit will be open from 11am to 11pm on Monday.

Agree with OP, been a few games coming but had hoped we never suffered our first defeat off that mob. We will bounce back but maybe it's been the kick up the arse the players need..

We were on top of the game in my opinion and there was no need to bring on Oduwa/Zelalem at 57 mins as the team were creating enough chances. I agree Wilson was poor today but we brought on 2 passengers and our performance level certainly dropped when they came on

We dominated most of the game apart from 20 mins in the 1st half and deserve a lot more out of it. it was only a matter of time before we suffered a defeat as performance wise we have dropped a bit of momentum, I had only hoped it wasn't against that mob.

The 2 subs cost us the game today. It was a tough game and was always going to be a battle in the midfield and for me Oduwa and Zelalem didn't have it in them. They were made too early as we were well on top at the time and dominating the game.

They got a good 5-2 result away from home on Friday at NY Red Bulls.

I was lucky enough to meet the Rangers players that night, there was also a pitch invasion from all the younger fans at FT if that helps jog the memory.

We played them for Martin Doak's Testimonial in the 90's, a wet Tuesday night at Cappielow. McCoist scored in a 1-0 win and it was one of Duncan Fergusons 1st game.

I'd recommend it to anyone who comes over here and wants to watch the game.. Proper bacon and sausage rolls, pints at 7.30am and surrounded by fellow bears! Great 4-0 win to round it off!
