I'm astounded you now want to deny you've said that. I've also already said that I would respect my former position and the organisation by progressing by resignation through the appropriate channels. As someone who is worried about the Trust professionalism and ethics I would have thought you'd welcome such an attitude. Telling all and sundry on public forums about why I resigned doesn't really benefit anyone at this stage. Yes, the banner in my sig is not there any more. And, yes, that should tell you something about how I feel. I'm pretty sure most people would have picked up on that by now though. I certainly wouldn't say the Trust isn't worth joining but neither will I be promoting it until I'm personally satisfied that the issues I have are addressed. That's something I hope I can do actually. Again, I'll do it through the proper channels though as I know that the Trust can work very well under the constitution it abides by. I certainly won't be complaining and moaning on internet forums as that serves little constructive purpose unless accompanied by genuine practical work. Frankie, You are the one who constantly used to tell people if they were not happy with the way the RST was run to do something about it and join the board,.. make a difference and all that. And here you are, saying things aren't as you would have like them to be and you step down from your position. Can you clarify that for us at the very least then?

Mate, I have taken some time to read this entire thread and you are entitled to your opinions but take it from someone who was on the RST board with Frankie that he is one of the most honest, trustworthy guys that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Why would you attack a guy who has just resigned from the trust board? Surely your arguments are against the folk that remain on it as it would appear you do not like the organisation. Frankie worked tirelessly for the RST and because of this it is understandable that people are frustrated and want to understand why a guy like this has resigned. Maybe over time the reasons will come out but it is best for everyone to respect his decision that he will not go into the reasons why he stood down. It came from my presumption that the RST was akin to the other "voluntary" organisations where people become a part of to gain materially from. 2. Free speech is not allowed since FF (which is basically the recruitment wing of The RST and is run and owned by an RST board member) has banned all discussion on the Trust. Democracy is not allowed since the RST has a history or electing it's own board members without polling the members first. And Debate for both the above reasons. 4. I never said it did. FF was indeed instrumental in the setting up the RST and FF is indeed a large part of the organisation to this day (and probably in the future) but they are not the same now and are wholly independent of each other. 3.
