  1. Sorry but that did not happen. The C&P job you've posted above is from the main FF site and it remains there from Monday. http://www.followfollow.com/news/loadnews....W&id=392694 So the FF site does more to keep RST members informed of goings on than the RST site itself? I thought they were independent of each other?
  2. :D Someone says they saw something and now it looks suspicious. That coupled with all the other things surfacing and yes, it looks like things are on a very shoogly peg.
  3. Impossible. I was on holiday last Monday and no-one else can log-in. As explained. I smell shite. Lots of it. Sorry Frankie but things are starting to look very suspicious.
  4. 2. You are basing some of your generalisations about the RST on this argument. Of course it affects the rest of your statements. You made more such unfounded generalisations. No it affects that statement and that statement alone. 3. No they are not the same. You can claim this as well all you like but it's simply not true. I'd love to see what you base your figures on? The owner of FF is only one person on the RST board. Many of the other board members don't even use the place. They are the same. End of story. You can argue all you bloody well like but we all know FF is the biggest recruiter of RST members and goes a long way in promoting it's existence. Without FF the RST would NOT be in existence. Period. 4. No, you are saying RST members have bought into propaganda, mistruths and lies that I have supposedly posted. None of which you have shown. I am not weak because I'm sticking to my own principles regarding what has happened. Probably the opposite again in fact. Read up on the "herd mentality" post I posted earlier. You aint sticking to no principles Frankie. You are scared to release the reasons for your departure and are probably waiting to come up with a decent excuse as to why you left. 5. The route I have chosen is a principled one within the rules of the RST and any organisation. The only people building rumours are people who are posting unfounded nonsense as we've seen above. In the mean-time I'll hold my counsel until I get the chance to inform the RST membership of why I left. That is not unreasonable, weak or privy to some cover-up. Just good, old-fashioned ethics and professionalism. No it isn't. The route you have chosen is a cowards one. 6. As I have said before the RST is run by volunteers. Important decisions and information are not released on a whim. I'm sure the organisation will comment more and if not, then I agree, as a member I'd be similarly disappointed. Just because there is a delay doesn't mean they are 'deliberately holding back' info. What were you saying about propaganda? Ahhhh... but when something important like a POSITIVE story emancipates itself from the RST everyone is first to know with you starting the same thread on at least three different Rangers forums alerting everyone. Not to mention the RST site being updated immediately. Your posting over the years has verged on SPAMMING forums, Frankie. And when a negative story comes out - such as this one and the Templeton et al affair - the RST suddenly goes quiet, people go on holiday, people suddenly have these "counsels" they need to keep hold of, people suddenly have to wait until they "get the chance" to inform others and people suddenly have "old fashioned ethics and professionalism". I say BULLSHIT to that. 7. Have you contacted the RST about all your concerns? I'm surprised you are a member given you obviously disagree with so much of what it stands for. Not yet. My membership (which I renewed about a month ago after cancelling due to the same thing happening that's happening now) will be canceled ASAP. As will many others simply down to the way you and the rest of your old Board Chums have handled this affair.
  5. 1. Fair enough 2. Let's not down nothing. I made a presumption based on my knowledge of these types of organisations. Material gain is just something that happens in these set ups. If I am wrong about this one, then I hold my hands up. But let's not down the rest of my argument on that point alone simply because you can't argue against my points. 3. They are one in the same. I would guess 95% + of RST members are members of The RST. The other 5% will be from other online forums and the odd man on the street. 4. Where have I said I think so lowly of thousands of Rangers fans? You are trying your hardest to make me look like I'm lambasting Rangers fans here but I cannot remember nor fathom me ever saying anything of the sort. I am attacking you personally, Frankie, as I think you are a weak individual unwilling to take it upon himself to explain the reasons for departure from an organisation you have been so aggressive in promoting through the years. 5. The question is why are you defending an organisation that you have left at boardroom level? Why do you feel the need for the cover ups and mute on any explanations? If your reasons become public "soon enough" then why can't you tell us now? That's the reason people are starting to think very negatively of the Trust. A quick explanation by yourself and the RST would have allayed many of the fears members have and many of the rumors that are starting to surface. The route you have chosen is fully responsible for the rumors and debate that is on this here thread. 6. So you are saying the RST are deliberately holding back from informing it's members about the direction and future appointments onto the board? Can you see why people may think they will have to witness another sneaky appointment again? Can you see why people are becoming very skeptical about the Trust and indeed how "trustworthy" it actually is?
  6. No one has posted anything about financial gain. You and Frankie have misunderstood the meaning of material wealth though. "who care only for the lining of their own pockets" Yep, misunderstood all right... Materially. Much like politicians line their own pockets with material gain. Still not sure that I am understanding you. Are you accusing RST board members of taking non-financial bribes? Here comes the cavalry. I am saying that RST board members gain materially from their positions.
  7. Wonder all you like but if you've read any of my posts - especially the pictures thread - you will know I aint no Tim. This is another case of someone unable to argue their point calling anyone whose views differ a tim. Intellectual genius.
  8. Is RM now going down the road of censorship too? This will be interesting to see.
  9. No one has posted anything about financial gain. You and Frankie have misunderstood the meaning of material wealth though. "who care only for the lining of their own pockets" Yep, misunderstood all right... Materially. Much like politicians line their own pockets with material gain.
  10. 1. If I died, yes there would have bee a problem actually. I was the only one with a login to the Joomla site. That was remiss of the organisation in that regard. However, it doesn't make it a sham. Perhaps alone it does not... but it sure adds to the evidence proving it is. 2. Sorry but you can prevaricate on what you mean all you like. RST Board members do not gain out of their work. The complete opposite actually. I spent lots of money, received threats and certainly never received any tickets to big games. If that's 'fame' then I'd hate to be a celebrity. Frankie, you know what I'm talking about here. I'm not saying you never spent lots of money nor do I condone the threats you received. But if you are telling me all these volunteers are in place for the betterment of Rangers then I'll have to believe you and take back my previous comments. 3. You can go on about facsim all you like but you are wrong. FFis wrong to ban to talk on the organisation and the RST has also been too slow to release more info on the above. That's not fascism on it's part. IT IS FASCISM. Denying the right of free speech and democracy the RST is a fascist organisation. That has been proven in this debacle. 4. Ah, now more unsubstantiated personal crap. Please post some of my lies and mistruths. Again you 'paint a picture' of your fellow fans as some sort of brainless lemmings. Bizarre! Again - just because you are a "fellow fan" doesn't mean I can't take a differing view from you and indeed challenge you on things. In fact, many fellow fans are wankers of the highest order. What's bizarre about that? You were the main propaganda machine for the RST - even you can't deny that Frankie. 5. A lot of stuff is inaccurate about what you have written - as I have shown. You're resorting to flawed allegations based on evidence that you seem reluctant or unable to post. No I'm not and no it isn't. You are showing the RST and yourself up here for what you and it really is.
  11. Who is Peter Martin? Peter Maguire you surely mean? If so... he is just as bad a taig as the ones polluting your phone and bebo page.
  12. No one has posted anything about financial gain. You and Frankie have misunderstood the meaning of material wealth though.
  13. 1. Ha. And if you died suddenly when still webmaster the RST site would have went into oblivion then? Don't be silly Frankie, if you were the only one with a login to the site then you are either lying or you are proving my previous point that the RST is a sham organisation. Which one is it? 2. Material wealth, Frankie. Not monetary wealth. You know fine well what I'm speaking about here. "meetings" with the Chairman where you really push him hard on your policies (sorry for the sarcasm), "tickets" to the big games, "fame" amongst the fellow fan... you know what I'm saying. 3. Yes it has. Numerous times on this thread. Follow Follow, the reason The RST is in existence, has banned all talk on the subject. The RST have failed to release a statement telling it's members whats going on. The RST has in the past non democratically elected board members. That is FASCISM. Like it or not but it most certainly is. 4. Yes you are. Punting mistruths for years on forums across the Internet. Funneling people into the RST with pictures painted so far from the truth it's unreal. "Contempt for a fellow fan" - don't try and pull the sympathy vote here Frankie. I do have contempt for a lot of what you say and do because you are lying outright here about numerous things. So... what's inaccurate about my generalizations? I've posted detailed truths here and no general posts have come from my direction...
  14. FF is a large reason why the RST has so many members - I would never say otherwise. But it's far from the only one and it's certainly NOT the driving force behind the RST even though many of the online opinions on there (and elsewhere) are often reflected in Trust policy. I doubt FF will go 'down the swanny' any time soon but if it did, the RST would not follow suit. I am being very honest here and am not mumbling responses/excuses. I am perfectly within my rights to hold back on why I resigned and I'm not sure who you are referring to when you say 'everyone' is noticing' this 'poor show'. And the reason for quick edit there was??? Don't worry, I seen what you posted. I would have deleted it out too.
  15. Why has there been no explanation of what has happened Frankie? That seems very strange to me. I would have thought that the right think for any representative organisation to do under these circumstances is release a statement to let their members, and others, know what is going on. I can't answer that mate. Like I said, I've been on holiday so couldn't organise for someone else to be able to operate the RST site until a new webmaster was appointed. That should be done asap and then it's up for the remaining board to decide what they want to do with regards to explanations. Frankie Me again... I appreciate you taking the time to come on here and answer the questions put forth. What I don't appreciate you doing is coming on here and treating us as if we are stupid. A new webmaster doesn't need to be appointed for someone to pop a message on the RST official site. It's run on the Open Source platform Joomla. All one needs to do is log into the admin panel and make a post - much like one would do on a forum. Let's get it straight. If the RST WANTED to make a statement, it would have been on the site by now. If the RST somehow managed to get a fan on the Rangers Board tomorrow, are you telling me that no statement would be made because we are awaiting a new webmaster??? Frankie, respect is something that is earned over time. You gained mine over the years. You've now lost it all.
  16. Apologies for the delay in responding to this post - I was at a close friend's wedding on Saturday and it was my wife's birthday yesterday so had no time online to answer. Firstly, despite my resignation, let me answer your points: 1. The RST is not a sham and never has been. The organisation is run by volunteers who simply do so for the benefit of it's members under the auspices of the government ST initiatives. To that end, in it's short 5 year existence it's done pretty well in that regard. It has achieved very little verging on nothing. So it hasn't done very well. WE hear all about these "volunteers" but deep down we all know they are not volunteers. They are in the positions to gain material wealth and abundance at the expense of the members. 2. Not sure where you get the fascists tag so I'll let you explain that before I answer. However, your second point is utter nonsense. No-one lines their own pockets and no-one makes other material gains via the RST. I think you should justify such daft comments before making them. Personally, I spent a lot of money acting as a board member of the RST for 3 years - no-one even takes expenses (which we could) and our accounts are independently audited every year so any financial discrepancies would soon come to light. I think the fascist tag has been well proven in this thread already Frankie. 3. Again, I think this point is rather daft. There is no propaganda machine - just healthy and lively debate on here and elsewhere about what the RST can and cannot offer. I have spent a lot of time on many RFC forums answering every question or concern people have - not just members but non-members too. I think you are very harsh on your fellow fans ability to make their own decisions based on what they read and hear about certain issues. There is a propaganda machine of which you used to be the driving force and still are to some extent. Pushing on people to join for years then suddenly quitting the board... and FF not allowing any discussion on the matter is fascist propaganda. 4. Again, no sure how you make this judgement but I don't think it's accurate. We'll have to wait and see. Overall, I think you've made some very unfair and unfounded allegations about a group of people who act honestly, openly and without gain for their members. Sure, the RST has made a fair amount of mistakes in it's time and sure it's far from perfect but to suggest it was or is run by fascist conmen is wholly inaccurate. I, along with several others, have spent a large part of my life working for the RST for something I believe in. For you, or anyone else, to generalise what I, and others, have done without genuine evidence for the very strong accusations you make is actually quite upsetting. I don't deny the RST has it's problems (which is why I resigned) but neither should the work it has done (and will hopefully continue to do in the future) be decried unfairly.
  17. I'm sorry but I (or the rest of the existing/previous) RST board can't control what FF does. As such, while the RST did indeed rightly promote themselves on that site, the RST cannot be blamed for the actions of that site admin. I've always posted about the RST on FF, here and other forums and have always answered every question that I can honestly and openly. Similarly, the Trust hold an AGM, regular Open Days, have their own website for enquiries and recently organised the WRC Shop so members and non-members alike could find out more about the organisation. The door has always been open so fascist doesn't quite describe the RST in my opinion. Sorry... but it CAN control it. If I am correct, Dingwall is on the board of the RST... Dingwall is the owner of the FF website and Fanzine. Dingwall is responsible for the ludicrous bannings and embargo on free speech. SAys it all.
  18. Frankie Follow Follow is the ONLY reason the RST has so many members and you know that's a fact. FF is the driving force behind the RST. Simply put - if FF were to go down the swanny tomorrow, the RST would follow suit. And you are not being honest here either. You are hiding behind one mumbled response after another with nothing but silly excuses. You are your own man, a man who has the right to speak out when he so desires. A man who has the right to tell others why he resigned from the RST... yet you constantly sidestep the issue. Poor show which everyone is noticing.
  19. By judging his public comments which show very little commitment to us. If he wanted to stay here no questions asked he'd be plain about it. Why would he? He is still contracted to Fulham so how would bumping his gums in the press help? He knows what he wants to do but sometimes it is not as easy as coming right out and saying it. It's a decorum thing, Danny. I know he knows what he wants to do... So does that not make your thread a bit pointless then, Danny? Maybe if it was indeed my thread... How old are you? I'm sorry my knowledge of the difference between and "post" and a "thread" is not up to your required standards you sanctimonious clown.
  20. Seems like the perfect time to be adding a few extra seats...
  21. Heartbreaking. My dad used to use that stairway every home game. The day it happened he had to attend a family wedding. That night he met the woman who is now my mother. He didn't know anything about what had happened that day until the next morning. I always pass the statue on my way into Ibrox and stop to take a few seconds to remember those who passed that fateful day and to pray for their souls in the grand lodge above. Sickening.
  22. Because home doesn't offer a benefits system as vast as the one we do. In fact, it offers none at all. That's the real reason these immigrants are here and it is truly sickening.
  23. Heard this comparison loads of times in the last 2 years or so, can't be a bad thing He is similar in the way that physically, he has the body of a 19 or 20 year old, not a 16 year old. I disagree. I think he still has to develop physically. He is still just a wee boy. Height wise he is small... build wise he is big for his age. 16 years old and we want him thrown in at the deepend... come on guys, leave him be for at least another season and see how he develops with a few select first team appearances next season. Again, he doesn't have to be tall to be a good player. If he has upper body strength, it's all he needs. Easy for me to say because I was 6'2 at 14, but look at Fabregas, Diego, Robinho, Rooney, Scholes, Rino etc. Midfielders/attackers that aren't 'target men' don't need to be huge. Fleck is a much better footballer than McCulloch, hence should play a lot more next season. I agree... he is a far better natural talent than the likes of McCulloch et al. But my biggest fear is ruining this great talent by rushing him into the first team and having him put up with the massive pressure that will be put on him as a homegrown superstar. Is he ready for it at 16? All these other players you mention - barring Rooney - are foreign imports who have had very little pressure put on them and had the time to develop. If Fleck came in and found it difficult to adapt to senior football and the pressures that come with it... would you give him the time he needs or would we see posts this time next year saying he aint good enough when clearly he is? As for the height thing... it isn't vitally important, granted. It was just an observation from seeing him up close in the flesh and bones. For me... as you know... 16 is just too young. 17 is still too young. These guys should be in full time education - provided by RFC and housed inside Murray Park - much like the youth at Ajax of Amsterdam... not thrown in to first team action at the earliest opportunity.
