  1. Heard this comparison loads of times in the last 2 years or so, can't be a bad thing He is similar in the way that physically, he has the body of a 19 or 20 year old, not a 16 year old. I disagree. I think he still has to develop physically. He is still just a wee boy. Height wise he is small... build wise he is big for his age. 16 years old and we want him thrown in at the deepend... come on guys, leave him be for at least another season and see how he develops with a few select first team appearances next season.
  2. I do think a few people will be surprised at how much - relatively speaking of course - we spend this summer. In a positive way.
  3. He's not a pure big bluenose though The difference is simple. Cousin was signed with the intention of selling him after 6-12 months. It's in the contract. It's also in the contract that Willie McLies will pay XXX amount in Cousin failed to score X amount of goals in X amount of games. I wonder if he hit the target? Lets not try and compare apples with oranges here guys. The Davis situation is different from the Cousin one in many different aspects.
  4. By judging his public comments which show very little commitment to us. If he wanted to stay here no questions asked he'd be plain about it. Why would he? He is still contracted to Fulham so how would bumping his gums in the press help? He knows what he wants to do but sometimes it is not as easy as coming right out and saying it. It's a decorum thing, Danny. I know he knows what he wants to do... So does that not make your thread a bit pointless then, Danny? Rangers want him, he wants to stay and he will stay. It's really as simple as that.

  6. He isn't interested. Trust me. His first choice is to return to England. Au Contrair, Danny. I'm just off the phone to an old University chum from Larne who knows the Davis family very well and he said that he would be signing permanently sooner rather than later. 1: I didn't say that's not going to happen. I said his first choice is to return to England. 2: Forgive me if I don't take your post at face value... 1. No Worries. But his first choice is to sign for The Rangers. 2. No Worries. Have a nice Bank Holiday.

  8. He said exactly the same about Hutton. Fact is, if a decent bid comes in, Murray will force him out the club.
  9. And throw the values of our Club right down the shitter whilst we are at it.
  10. You think Kenny Miller supports the IRA because he played for Celtic? Interesting viewpoint to say the least. When you fly with the craws, you get shot with the craws. Lie with the dogs, you get fleas. Etc. Hes pish, hes a badge kisser, hes a money grabber. Hes no Taig though. JMO He's a taig alright. Plus all the things you mentioned. Which makes it ridiculous to sign him for The Royal Rangers.

  12. What kind of comment is that ? Its NOT good. Got a problem with that, then PM me. Rangersmedia will not tolerate comments like this. Well ban me then, Coop. I'm not going to stop using the word Taig for anyone. You trying to censor the word on here is a small indication of how bad the handwringing and apathy in the Rangers support has become.
  13. It seems that people are misunderstanding the meaning of the word taig. Taig has nothing to do with religious intolerance. Sorry to dissapoint. Calling someone a Taig is in reference to their terrorist and nationalist viewpoints. I have no problems with a Roman Catholic playing for The Rangers. I couldn't care less if he was Hindu, Sikh, Jew or Moslem. What I do have a problem with is someone who plays up to and laps up the Irish Nationalistic viewpoint and kisses the badge of a team whose support wholeheartedly sing about the IRA and murdering innocent women and children. That is a Taig.
  14. You really should come in from the cold and look at our recent history. Sorry... what other Taigs have played for The Rangers in the past apart from Maurice Scumbag? You really should come in from the cold and look up the definition of a Taig.
  15. Walter will be viewing this signing as his masterstroke. Much like Souness did when he signed Maurice Scumbag. No taig... I repeat... NO TAIG should EVER get the opportunity to play for The Rangers.
  16. He bloody well should be hanged for treason. You are 100% correct. One thing Brown has done right in his short term in power is to push for British people to be proud and fly the flag. No foreign flag - especially not one from Ireland... a country known to strongly oppose Britain - should be allowed to be flown ANYWHERE in this country. A flag used to be a symbol of loyalty in this country.
  17. Exactly. A title that fucking reeks of cheating... not only that but the lowest morals and ethics I have EVER witnessed in my life.
  18. Undoubtedly yes. There is not a hope in hells chance he will be playing a 4-5-1 next season so let's get that notion out the window now. His formation in the Cup Final and at Aberdeen and St Mirren have somewhat proven that. He WILL add quality and DOES have money to spend. Look at the last ditch bid to get Carrociolo (SP) in January. Three quality players - I'm talking game changers in the middle of the park, out wide and up top - coupled with the squad we have will see us progress next season. Add a solid center half to play with Carlos and a right back to replace Whittaker/Broadfoot/Dailly and we are a formidable opposition. Walter is the man to take us forward.
  19. For future reference you can get in up to 60 minutes into the game then the gates are shut.
  20. Flunk me! I have been saying that for years in the pub and getting all sorts of abuse! We are on the same wavelength tonight DB ;-)
  21. Yeah dude... totally, like... fuck yeah. Whilst we are it, why don't we put Beasley in at Center Half with Cuellar. His pace would ensure no forward got one on one with the keeper. Fuck yeah. Surfs up... I'm outy. Peace.
  22. Frankie. I have the highest respect for you. You have clearly worked very hard for all of us. I dont know the polotics behind this, nor is it any of my business. Im not bright enough to work at that level, but everyone I know on RM respects you highly. Stay strong brother. Yes, Coop, it IS your business. As a member you deserve to know what is going on in an organisation you urge members to of this board to join. Sitting on the sidelines accepting everything that comes from the mouth of an organisation known for backstabbing it's members (Templeton anyone????) is the worst thing you could do. Well, maybe it is, but I dont hear anything. Some things never change
