When someone says "I'll pick you up at ten o clock" one day and arrives at 1 o clock with a good reason, you accept it and deal with it. When the same person says "I'll call you about XY or Z tomorrow morning" and calls in the afternoon saying he slept in, you accept it and become a bit pissed off. When that same person then arranges to meet you for drinks at "Ten PM sharp in XYSDFG Bar" and doesn't show up, you start questioning the "friendship" I had a friend like that once. Always making arrangements and never fulfilling his obligation. Murray is the same... always bleating on about making an announcement and keeping us in the loop... and always failing to deliver.

Frankie. I have the highest respect for you. You have clearly worked very hard for all of us. I dont know the polotics behind this, nor is it any of my business. Im not bright enough to work at that level, but everyone I know on RM respects you highly. Stay strong brother. Yes, Coop, it IS your business. As a member you deserve to know what is going on in an organisation you urge members to of this board to join. Sitting on the sidelines accepting everything that comes from the mouth of an organisation known for backstabbing it's members (Templeton anyone????) is the worst thing you could do.

So when i got slated for not joining the RST cause i had my doubts! <_< I was actually right.... surely not You see.. that's the herd mentality in action. Tell enough people that joining the RST is the right move and tell them so many times they feel like less of a fan for not joining. Then when they do join and find out they don't have the voice they were promised they have to find a way to make their joining process seem logical. So they advise others to join... and they do so not because it would be best for them... but because they were fooled into joining and they have to justify joining... and because everyone else is telling people to join... and because they don't *really* have a mind of their own... and because they are led to believe that by joining they are actually doing good... And so the circle continues... getting bigger... with more and more people saying how great the thing is and urging you to join... And then the whole world comes a crumbling down 5 or 10 years later when one day people start questioning the organisation... what has it achieved?... what have I gotten from it?.... how has it changed The Rangers for the better?... And then people resign from the board due to infighting... then a ban is put in place on all discussions on the matter in the largest propaganda machine for the organization known to man (Follow Follow)... and suddenly the rose garden is not so rosy after all... (Here comes my crystal ball...) You wanna know what happens next in this story? Cool... I have the script: 1. I'm shot down in flames. 2. In the next few days the RST site has a statement telling us not to worry, everything is cool and the resignations came about due to other commitments and time constraints. 3. Another RST lackie joins the board and tries to coax us all into re joining. 4. The circle continues for another five years if people fall for all the bullshit again. Get the point? The RST is pointless. It will NEVER achieve anything and that's the bare facts laid out. Whether you choose to accept them or not is solely up to you.

Guys The alarm bells have been ringing for months/years but the herd mentality amongst the forumites here and on followfollow have seen the RST getting massive exposure and painted in a light that is far from real. The total ban on anything RST related on followfollow should tell you right away not to trust an organisation so fascist in it's operation. The RST claims to be a voice for the Rangers fan. It's hardly surprising that the voice has been lost. I rejoined a few months back after seeing some improvement. Knew at the time I was taking a chance but questioned my thinking with so much positive publicity. Here's the stone cold facts, my friends. Some of which you will NOT like: 1. The RST is a sham - from top to bottom. 2. The RST is run by fascists who care only for the lining of their own pockets and other material gains. 3. The RST have a propaganda machine - mainly the Follow Follow website and this one too now to some extent - that would make Tony Blair jealous. 4. The RST will be down the swanny inside 12 months with the uprise in people questioning not only it's validity but it's ethics. And when ethics are called in question it's very rare for an organization to bounce back. You want and vote for a democracy? Well here's my view: Don't join the RST. Don't fall for the propaganda you see on here and on Follow Follow. Don't allow fascists to disallow you an opinion or to air your concerns. If you genuinely want to help The Rangers Football Club go and join your local supporters club and put it to them. At least then you know you are dealing with real Rangers fans and not professional conmen.

Names like Waddell, Alex Scott, Willie Henderson, Derek Johnstone (showing my age) came into the first team at that age, and the game was far more physical and the youth nowhere near as well nourished and well developed in physique as the youngsters of today. I think we hinder our young players too much by reflecting on age rather than ability and probably lose a lot of talent because of this. But society in general has changed from then... these guys were probably working doon the mines at 12 years old.

We are The Rangers, not Glasgow Rangers ;-) I don't know who I would like to see signed... I haven't spent much time looking at available players. But I feel we DO need: Two out and out wingers with pace and ability to cross a ball. A centre half A right back A center midfielder to replace Ferguson A target man striker to feed Boydy. At a MINIMUM.

Ian Black is probably the smallest most lightweight player in the SPL However, he is a good player and can pass the ball extremely well... and always causes us problems.

Can you guys remember what you were like at 16 years old? I was trying to put myself in that position when I was talking to these boys out in Turkey and found it impossible to comprehend how any of them could deal with the pressures of playing with a top club like Rangers. Fleck in particular was doing interviews and meetings with such professionalism it was unreal... that is one thing he has got going for him right now... maturity and mindset seem bang on.
