  1. Sadly I think thats what Walter will be thinking. When really we should be looking for more goals against these division 1 style opponents.
  2. that was our best chance we'll get all game! can always rely on shit teams for an own goal
  3. hahahahaha that was just....... shocking by adam.
  4. See what we need is pace!! Novo just proved that.
  5. erm... are the police playing it now or what
  6. wooooo never been so glad to see the police!
  7. is that the car park you can see in the background behind the corner flag :|
  8. its like playing with 10 men when you have dailly on.
  9. just read this on bbc website from Walter "But Kirk Broadfoot's come in and played very well with Davie Weir in the games we've had in pre-season." Sorry? Did I miss that game?
  10. Well I hope thats not in any particular order. I dont fancy Dailly upfront .
  11. Well Danny I think we'll just have to a agree to disagree , but thats what a discussion is all about. It all depends on the actual player, if the player is fantastic in one position but can ALSO play in others then I see that as being added benefit. Just because you're versatile doesnt mean you cant have a favorite dominant position which you excel at and other positions less so. So I think versatility as a whole is a good thing. But as I mentioned whether we have the right mix is debatable and most of the "versatile" players we have dont seem to excel anywhere. Though I think we're being unfair to the likes of Lafferty as we havent really had chance to see him play
  12. Well I think I disagree here, versatility is a good thing when players become injured as in theory you then have competent cover. Versatility also means you can be flexible with formations and tactics and for matches when you dont have injuries you just put the players in where they are suited best. Now, as I said thats in theory. The problem we have is that a) our versatile players largely are just shite and b) Walter doesnt appear to be very good at choosing their optimum positions.
  13. Alexander did fantastic as McGregors stand in. But he's exactly that a stand in, does anyone remember how McGregor saved us single handedly in the Werder Bremen game in Germany? McGregor wasn't on top form against Liverpool but it wont be long with a bit of match experience until he's better than ever.
  14. From what i've seen him play I really quite like Beasley, adds a bit of pace and quality into a match. Especially with our lacklustre side. Though he does seem to be extremly injury prone which is somewhat holding him back.. however I also think it could make economic sense to raise our profile in the US, they're becoming a "soccer" loving nation after all and he seems to get games for the national team .
