  1. I dont actually think it's possible to play anymore games than we did, we got to the final of everything we could.
  2. aye long as he doesn't get injured next season AGAIN he should be a key player for us.
  3. we were great at stopping goals against teams which had more quality than us, we were focussed. But when we play lesser teams we go forward a bit more and expose ourselves and the defenders aren't quite as alert. Though im usre tiredness is also a huge factor. Keep Cuellar and Papac but Weir will need replaced next season as he's getting on abit now and broadfoot is just shite.
  4. Well done boys, least we got the 2 cups :unionflag:
  5. oh, and good luck with the new job! Have a nice 4 weeks off
  6. dont feel bad, think of the hells she's put you through. And to top off ach.. Cheating bitch shouldn't be cheating anyway.
  7. Ach her team may have won the league..... but she's just lost her husband and probably her job since her partners the MD
  8. Aye lets hope the players go out with the right mentality, that'll be the key. If they go out depressed fearing the worst then it's going to be a long 90mins... but if they go out with a bit of anger and passion im sure we could fit 5 goals past them. But Boyd on for starters .
  9. haha, dont ever ask for a reference from her though.
  10. aye, the SPL certainly didnt help this season. But imagine what the tims would of said if they had delayed some of our fixtures and we still lost? Which to be honest... I reckon would of happened anyway. Hopefully in the future the SPL can take lessons from this season and help out all clubs when they are in European competitions. The SPL seem to forget that a team in europe representing Scotland is a GOOD THING.
  11. haha I always represent the Rangers team in the hills of deepest darkest Derbyshire
  12. I think Walter did his best with the quality of squad, sure he made mistakes but nobodies perfect and its easier to critisize tactics after they've gone wrong. The Euro run was phenomenal, sure we played defensivly but look where it got us, the players were way out their depth with some of the quality sides we were playing yet we reached the final! How can anyone doubt Walter after that? Walter has helped turn this club round again and who would of thought at the start of the 07/08 season we would of been going for a quadruple!! Seriously, look what we have achieved this season and we certainly cant put it down to the "quality" players we have, its Walters tactics and a strong sense of commitment (apart from Cousin). Sure we stumbled at the last hurdle, the players were tired, and the loss of the UEFA cup obviously hurt them and they lost their spirit, but going for a quadruple we were always out of our depth so instead of looking so negatively at whats happened over the past fornight look at how far we have come. I hope in years to come we will look back at this season as the start of a new era. The league.. well perhaps this is where Walter made a mistake...should we have played a more attacking style? But we hadn't really played like that all season so why change it at the last few matches and risk unsettling all the players. So where next, I would like to see a few new signing over the summer an perhaps a couple of big names to reward our UEFA cup achievement but i'll leave it to good old Walter to decide who. A radical overhaul isn't necessary I dont think, but a few fresh additions will give us the edge. Roll on next season!
  13. ah well I feel better after a quick session on GTA... we still have the double to go for and its been a fantastic season overall and was a real rollercoaster ride. Shame we just slipped up at the end, roll on next season... and lets see some big signings over the summer
  14. ahhh fuck this, im going go on GTA IV and sniper some hoes to take out some of my anger... then hit the bottle.
  15. I've seen wee Miller play a few times with living down here, and I dont rate him. You never know, maybe he'll be a success...
  16. ok so now i've had time to think about all this, what in reality could Rangers of done to avoid the trouble? Everyone is quick to blame Rangers and give them a ban from Europe but why... the fans inside the ground behaved impeccably, the majority stayed and applauded the Zenit players as they collected the trophy and as far as I know there was little trouble inside. Those were the fans Rangers could control as they were the ones that were given the tickets and Rangers could check to make sure that they weren't on some banned list. Now outside the ground is a different story the chaos and hell caused by those 300 or so "fans" was disgusting and shameful and all should be prosecuted. But those 300 were a tiny number compared to the 200,000 (perhaps a tad over estimate I dont know, but the BBC did quote that) or so estimated fans and that represents just 0.15% of the people there. A tiny figure, im not in any way shape or fashion trying to say what happened was ok, because it wasnt it was disgusting but what could Rangers have done about it? If the final was played abroad those 300 or so people probably wouldnt of been able to get to the game as they wouldnt be allowed a passport to get out the country but when it was held in Manchester every retard could get there easily.
  17. Actually, yes it is just a random broadfoot thread. It was about the comical face Broadfoot pulls when he does make a mistake. As I said, I think he played average tonight, he can do a decent long pass when he wants to and he certainly plays with his heart... but overall his performance the whole season I feel we do need a replacement.
  18. Whilst I wasnt there and obviously I dont know the details but the BBC reports "the vast majority of supporters have behaved impeccably and came to Manchester clearly intent on enjoying the carnival atmosphere". The fact the big screens didnt come on was bound to cause problems. Every club has its arse holes and whilst yes they all should be punished you always get some...
  19. Im not slagging the guys performance tonight, as I said he plays with his heart but I just really think we need a replacement over the summer.
  20. A team must always play to their strengths and thats what he have done throughout our European campaigns. We didnt have the skill and flare to rival the top Euro teams and we all know what. The only reason we got this far was due to Walters spot on tactics and the teams sheer determination. We had to play defensivly and the tactic nearly worked in th final, at the beginning of the second half you could see Zenit becoming increasingly frustrated and making mistakes... sadly however they got their lucky break and punished us. The boys did us proud, Walter got the tactics spot on but sadly we just weren't good enough. But, you can take pride in the way the players played, they played their hearts out for the club and as a team were capable of rivalling some of the top teams in Europe. SCOTLANDS PRIDE.
  21. Is it just me or does this guy make anyone else laugh? The foul throws he tends to do and the fantastic cock ups he does at least once in a match where when the camera zooms in he always has that same puzzled expression he pulls everytime he does something wrong always makes me laugh. The kinda look that says "What? It wasn't my fault?!?!?". You cant doubt the guys commitment to Rangers and he plays with his heart, but im sorry I just dont think he's good enough and I reckon we need a replacement over the summer.
