  1. All the best from Vienna aswell, dude! Nice to hear that there are Blue Noses in the city of the 2nd biggest Derby in the world aswell. And too good, that it ain't a Boca supporter btw, my team, FK Austria Vienna (see purple scarf on my picture), is also quite away of winning the title, so heads up!
  2. Ok, I quite understand that. But just in general... Isn't Liverpool quite close to this scummy green-and-white club? Just a question, thansk for answers! Sorry for OT... regards from Vienna.
  3. hey :)

    Have a great birhtday!

  4. I think it is a great idea alltough they have done it before. whatever! We make a similar thing but it just takes the piss out of them. Good point! Would be better to wait a little bit more. Everything else could turn out to be embarassing for us.
  5. At the moment I am havin a positive feelin for us to succeed. don't think this will be too hard if we make the very best out of our opportunities in front of the goal. When will we know whether the match in Bremen will be on the 12th or on the 13thz of March?
  6. What hasn't been mentioned here is that Man City are playing in a absoultely new stadium. This has to be taken into consideration. And thats tjhe big advantage with our new stadium: It will still be Ibrox, I mean they won't change anything on the outside of the stadium. I didn't know that they have such a crapy system with getting points forgoing to the matches. Please don't start the discussion again that Rangers aren't a big club just because you don't see that many tops on the streets and in shops.
  7. if we joined the EPL, players and fans would be motivated as hell. Ibrox wouldn't be the same anymore, i mean this place would be awesome. Imagine all the clubs like manu, liverpool or arsenal etc. playin there! I think we would be between 8th and 5th place by the end of the first season due to our positive mood!
  8. I think they went there by 2 or 3 busses. simply unbelievable. There must be dozens of Bears in Austria If you take a look at the image attached you'll see a tatoo of a supporter club of a football club in Linz (3rd biggest town in Austria). There is also another club mentioned in this pic <_<
  9. I cannot imagine that there is a rivalry as big as between Rangers and the Smeltics. It's the biggest and most famous in the world. Can't tell u if it was more intense in earlier years. What I can tell you is this: When I was working in England last summer I sometimes wore my rangers jersey. I couldn't believe how some people, who were wearing scum shirts, reacted on me. It's obvious that u can't expect anything friendly from them... but the way they behaved and how they showed their hatress was just something I wouldn't have been thinking of. Nevertheless, that's the way it should be when you're talking about a derby... Sth like that happened to me in Belfast last summer. The girl, who was actually really cute, had to be replaced by a rangers lady, who was her friend actually.
  10. This show of affection for the fans used to generate a noisy support for him - even when he was not playing but only warming up next 2 the pitch. 'Fila9' did more than the average player. He ran more and gave his very best all the time. Honestly m8, what do you want more? I am sure he would have scored more if he was given more opportunities to do so. It's the same thing with his performances at Austria Vienna. He didn't show any significant skills in the season where he played for Austria. He started to become one of our bests when several other players injured and he got the chance to play more often. All I can tell you is that it would have been very hard to become champion in 2006 without Sebo.
  11. He probably went to glasgow for the game, yeah. But I am sure he met loads of good friends. Hope he a good time tough Here are more pictures of our place in the town center with plenty of booze :beer2: . There's also a foto of our bouncy action in the sub which was awesome.
  12. @ Manticore: I know the Vienna True Blues and I guess you could say that I am a member. @ricardo: I just love those img's as they show our mood and the atmosphere in the subway perfectly! I have plenty others of the stadium and of the town centre made with my dslr but I think everyone has a couple of them so i didn't post them :king:
  13. Yeah I think we rather prefer 2 see a match at Ibrox. I Just can't wait going there again, especially at an European match it must be an outstanding atmosphere in there. Our trip 2 stuttgart was definately legendary. I quite liked the fact that we recieved our tickets in Vienna in the morning of the day of the match (ebay). Glad we made it! Here are some pictures of our way from the town centre to the stadium:
  14. Sebo is a guy who identifies him self with the team, the fans and the history of the club he plays at. I can tell u that as I have experienced it at Austria Vienna aswell. This is makes him unique, since most of the the players nowadays only think about their sallary isntead of the club and the fans. Filip just needs some positive support of the crowd.... I think this should be taken into consideration when judging a player. Maybe even more than his performance.
  15. Arsenal have a store in Phuket, Thailand too. I don't think that this makes them have a bigger fan base. Besides this, I didn't see people inside this store at all ^_^ Rangers have a massive fanbase, that is respected and appreciated all over the world. It is the biggest one in Scotland (easy) and the probably the number two in the UK. I am not from Britain but I must say that the british support is more dependend on the success of a team. If Rangers would play at the same level as manu or arsenal, it wouldn't be hard to fill a 68k stadium.
