Does anyone buy championship manager for themselves? I thought it was just mums and girlfriends that buy it (stupidly) for their sons/boyfriends?

A wee thing that annoys me in the game is when I'm playing a team, and they score, only for it to flash up that its [insert player names] first goal of the season or for the club. It makes me think my defence is rank...

In my Atletico Madrid game, a player in the unders and reserves teams had scored about 60 goals in 30 matches, he wasn't that great, but the fans made him one of their favourite staff and NOT me who just delivered the Champs League and La Liga. Bunch o bastids. I sold him out of bitterness.

Won the league in March, onwards to the First Division! (I never did manage to study for Chemistry, but the exam went quite well anyway)

Getting Juve promoted is pish easy really. I won the Italian Cup whilst in Serie B, did no bad in the Uefa if I remember correctly. Got into Serie A, won it in my first season. Year after that won the Champions League. And thats with a shot shy strikeforce. I'm sure I posted about it on here somewhere. Queen's Park is a real challenge. First season in the 3rd div, my weekly wage budget was 3 grand a week. In the 2nd its ?5,500. But I'm sitting 10 points clear at the top.... I feel a Gretna style straight promotions coming on!

naaaah, I want a challenge. Going Morton would be too easy. I've got some good youngsters in my side now I'm in the 2nd division, which I'm not top of at Christmas... Really imperative that I stop soon to study for that exam tomorrow...

Promoted to Division 2. I should've spent today studying chemistry, ah well.

Started a new game with Queen's Park. Murder. Eddie Annand and Brian Carrigan are my two big stars...

I arrange them cause I usually go wee teams and need to maximise revenues from pre-season friendlies. Mini leagues are the best if you can hit it off with getting a few big teams involved. In my Real Oviedo game, I got about ?3million when Real Madrid, Barca and Juve all agreed to a pre-season mini league. I was unsurprisingly delighted! Got horsed off all 3 of them which ruined my sides morale, but I was dazed by the pound signs
