    I've just moved into 2nd place in the SPL in 2016-2017 after 13 games. Just beat Celtic for the first time 2-0 at Ibrox to take me only 8 pts behind them.

    Took me two years to get up from the 1st Division after Ross County ripped the league a new one.

    Players I still have left are .....

    Faure and Gasparatto as my centre back paring. Aird and McKay both still play as wellm McKay starts but Aird is mainly a sub. That's it.

    Main striker is now Alex Nimely who player for Man City youths and reserves and also got Demba Ba as a player/scout (not socred in 10 games thou! - one year flop!)

    Qualify for Europe and increase the revenue stream and build from there.

    Hoping they can continue to play and work with these young players and bring them through into the first team.....

    If we can now create it as a conyer belt of talent coming out of Ibrox it would be good.

    Anyone know what's in the next team down?

    Sadly, no.

    This years is just like the year previous but with the Attitude Era, so no originality whatsoever when it comes to the storylines.

    Although I could be wrong. Haven't really followed this one but to my understanding career mode is just reliving certain storylines from that era.

    They've ruined career mode for me, it's far too short and I hate how with most matches you just beat your opponent to the point where you press a button and it goes to a cut-scene.

    It was better when it was free roam (not like last years free roaming, that was shit) and you could run around backstage and talk to other wrestlers, it'd end up in a brawl or they'd ask you to interfere in their match, stuff like that. It was long too, you could have held most titles by the time you finished. It wasn't exclusive to certain wrestlers either, you could be anyone on the roster.

    I'm tempted but only if I can have a good career....

    I remember years ago having a version on the PS2 where I could start my charector off and build him up match by match during a season and slowly work my way to the belts with a story line being involved.

    I thik it was WWE 11 I got and couldn't get my head round it...

    Is the old style career game possible? It's a game breaker for me.

    Give him the ball and let him run at people they were scared of him

    Do it often enough and he will win penalties and free kicks galore, especially agianst lesser quality players that he was facing in the SPL

    I was on my first date with the other half when that game was on. Was told that the game wasn't going to be shown in local (smaall village pub in Cheshire) at the time ,so arranged to meet in their thinking I was safe...

    I was a bag of nerves!

    Oh well 5 and 1/2 years later we have a smashing wee boy 16 months old.

    Who says the Rangers can't bring people together :D
