  1. I presume you're aware that all we need is to win both games and Septic to draw. Thats TOTALLY the same as Helicopter Sunday. I think you need to take another look at the table my friend http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...ble/default.stm
  2. "We will fight til the day is done" You're attitude is a shameful betrayal of those words above you will have sung so many times. I hope. It saddens me that there is any argument of this at all to be honest. We can still win the Title. Helicopter Sunday could happen again. Totally indisputable FACTS
  3. Come on mate, u cant be serious?? I suppose you think Scott MacDonald was a diehard Blue nose was he????? He scored TWICE to kill off his boyhood heroes. Hunt has the same swagger and arrogance and will know he could buy himself a move somewhere else if he grabs the headlines. Its happened once, it can happen again
  4. For dramatic effect my friend - and realism. If Septic are going to feck it up - i think it unlikely they're going to get done 4 nil or whatever No offence mate, but I really struggle to see how you cant get your head around the fact that WE COULD STILL WIN THIS! Id understand if it wasnt for the fact Helicopter Sunday was only 3 years ago. It doesnt matter that its not the most likely event - sadly, we all know what that is. What matters is that whilst we still have a a chance we fight fight and fight again. Or the players do anyway (just to clear up confusion for any onlooking numbskulls from the Picadilly Gardens mob!)
  5. Brilliant - biggest smile on my face all day thanks to that!! "Thanks to David Begg at Pittodrie where Rangers lead 1 nil. We've 5 minutes to go here, Celtic lead one nil through a 1st half Lee Wilkie owngoal... And Caldwell collects from Boruc under pressure from De Vries presses... OH and Caldwell has lost his footing and De Vries is advancing on Boruc and he shoots and a great save but theres Hunt and he SCCOOOOOOORRRREEEESS. Duundeeee Uniiiited have scored and the Helicopter is changing direction!!" I couldnt resist my own effort... HELICOPTER THURSDAY - Keep Believing!
  6. Id give my right arm for this scenario to occur again Imagine the radio commentary clips would be banded about like they were last time, the tv footage of our fans going mental when news of the Noe Hunt goal comes through... COME ON THE ARABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Arabs:
  7. I agree - before Hutton fell into his rich vein of form, everyone in their right mind would have said Whittaker was a far better player What Hutton had which we are missing is passion, arrogance and swagger - that was why he had the balls to go on those long runs. Whittaker seems to be missing this but maybe a run in his chosen position with give him this
  8. This sums it up. The observation is that Septic not reqesting the postponment of a match as a result of the very sad happenings of recent days, proves in my opinion how they disgustingly manipulated the events following O'Donnell's death to have a crucial game postponed when they were severely disadvantaged. Making this point is in no way disrespectful to Tommy Burns or his family etc... It merely highlights what a shower of shyte the men in charge of the Septic Football Club are
  9. One that, sadly, could and should have been avoided
  10. how do you mean? Helicopter sunday will be talked about before the game i suspect - the more its in the minds of fans and players of the green and grey the better.
  11. Id love some emails to be released exposing them for their plot t get the game called off after O'Donnel's death. Sadly I can see them getting away with it
  12. the sick bastards are the scum who used a player death to get a game called off. spot on Minstral.
  13. This has crossed my mind for sure. I think what it shows is how slimy and underhand the current men in charge of Septic are Its not about point-scoring - its about showing up how utterly despicable a decision of Septic's to postpone the game after O'Donnells deathg.
  14. I dont read this crap - whats the point? I wouldnt have bothered posting it personally but who am i to argue
  15. i wish we could put a numpty filter on this thread and save it from the fate of my last attempted positive thinking thread
  16. Shogun = Hero What would we give to get this guy over here full time. How many Bears would need to chip in a fiver to pay for his flight??! :bouncy:
  17. Helicopter Sunday We remember. They remember. The Worst Day of Timmy's Life. Fact. Make no mistake, that day still haunts the dreams of every Septic fan in the country. Reminding them of it is the easiest way in the world to get them riled, informing them confidently thats its going to happen again, will really put the shakeners on them! Remember this Bears - The more anxiety among their ranks, the tenser they are with every passing minute it stays 0-0 at Tannadice - the better for Glasgow Rangers. The thought that they might feck it up whilst the titles there for them to win is disturbing enough, add to that it acutally happened only 3 years ago, and it will definitely be in their minds. So come on Bears - spread the words - "Helicopter Thursday!!" - Noel Hunt is the man for me. A Tim like MacDonald was. The scripts been written. Lets publicise it! ps. PLEASE remember this thread is intended for the positive thinkers among us!
  18. We're all allowed a few hours of total dejection - for some it lasts longer than others. For me i had definitely waved the white flag as i was trooping out of Fir Park yesterday. Was speaking to my Dad on the phone and he was like "well at least we've got the Cup to look forward to" "F*ck the Cup!" i said loudly as I trooped devasted down the stairs. If you'd asked me then if we had a cat in hells chance of being champions id have probably swung for you Now, Im a fountain of positivity!
  19. Watched the whole game back again on video the night i got home: We actually played alright - 1st half we were under pressure of course but Zenit had few really clear chances 2nd half we got about them - we had good chances to get a goal (Novo, Darch, Barry) - the ball just didnt go in Zenits goals were class, we cant argue with that. But i dont think at all the players shamed the jersey - i was proud of them :unionflag:
  20. Well done Any feckin idiot can point out "we're fecked" Aside from the fact we arent - its our responsibility as Rangers fans to think positively, back the team, and support them until the very end (we will fight til the day is done) Lets leave it to the Septic fans to say "Rangers are shyte - they're finished" Why make their job easier for them?
  21. Wow - just imagine if we did! A few people have posted on this. The best option I've seen for the line-up for this circumstance would be Whittaker Cueller Weir Papac Thomson Ferguson Davis Darchville Boyd Novo That team could so some damage - with Whittaker overlapping and Papac attacking too (though his final ball is still mince)
  22. # I did say without any other trophies Sorry if so, but i swear originally you didn't have that in there Ha - id agree with that :harhar: Is there a notification on these forum if somebody edits a post?
  23. Anything can happen in football, that's what makes the game so beautiful. Dundee United - Septic will start at 0-0, just like our last two games. I know they are in the pole position and it doesn't look good for us but how any Rangers fan can say "It's over, face the facts( you know what a fact is?)" is a mystery to me. At least wait until it really is over and at least don't criticise others who want to stay positive while it's still possible for us. Exactly mate - maybe a few of the Bears that were giving it the "ITS OVER" stuff last night will realise it certainly is not over. Providing we beat St Mirren that means, as we go into the last day of the season, all the pressure is on Septic. If we can get an early goal or two against the Dons, then we'll really see with how they deal with that. You can say "oh theyve done well under pressure recently" but... remember the dodgy decisions they've had, and the fact that we've been favourites for the title for months - until yesterday of course
  24. whys it always the newbies that post this rubbish eh??????? (yes i know im a newbie too!)
