but we have always used the RFC crest on the strip, i know there have been variants of this ie the the rangers football club round it in the scroll and more recently the 5 stars, but whenever a rangers badge is shown on tv etc then you always see the round crest with the lion rampant in the middle, i was just wondering why that crest is not on the strip??? and are we the only team that does this I am sure we used the crest until around 1994 but then stopped. Minstral I think your not getting what he means. yeah, every other team has one team crest that goes on everthing. however we have the "RFC" crest on the strip (the one you see on on rings and chains etc) and also have the round crest with the lion rampant and the "ready" on it..... Yep, although the round crest I think is our official one if you can say that. Are we the only club in the world who do not actually wear the offical crest on our jersey, and does any know who why this is the case and why we use the "RFC" crest (which is far better imo)

I just dont see him all of a sudden investing huge amounts into rangers it would not be good business sense at the moment, not to mention the business he would lose from tims who would refuse to buy cars from him because he had money in rangers Canny see it happening, but you never know

tbh i dont know, but he owns just about every car garage in scotland and a good few in the north of england just checked wiki, i dont know about personal fortune but the company turnsover 2.2 billion a year. no bad!! he was born in glasgow and was in the RAF so a good chance he is a blue nose

In a serious note, i have often thought of arnold clark and why he does not invest in football. He must be one of the richest men in scotland, however he never seems to have any advertising at football, even sponsering a stand at ibrox or parkhead. I think he probably steers clear of football as it is only profitable at man u, real madrid etc He is a shrewd businessman and i dont think he will be getting involved, especially with the current economic climate, i.e no cunt buying motors!!!

No doubt this has been posted before but would like to hear any stories about your first rangers game, especially if any older bears are in, any 100,000 plus crowds etc. I have no memeory of ibrox without the club deck and corners filled in, and never experienced the terraced enclosures my first game was rangers v beitar jerusalim, i think we won 4-1 or 4-2, but i always remember rino gattuso scoring after about 45 seconds!!
