  1. I know kirk Broadfoot isnt a great footballer but at least he tries his heart out for us. He's in that gym every day gettin in unbelievable shape. I think him and edu are the only players in the rangers team with a six pack. He's obviously commited and has a great attitude. too many players at rangers in shit shape and with a shit attitude. maybe if they took a look at broadfoot and followed his example we'd not be the squad of out of shape shitbags we are.

doh The only reason Kirk Broadfoot and Maurice Edu are at the Gym everyday is because they are on a regime from their physio's to come back from injury......If they were fully fit they wouldn't be in the gym as much as they are.

i disagree. my mate plays for st mirren and says when he was at love street broadfoot was a machine as well. may look like a big lanky prick but built like fuk. And if that was the case about the injury then why is kevin thomson is shit shape?

  3. Playing like that and with an away record like ours are we good enough to even finish second?

Our away records actually pretty good. Before today we hadn't lost in 20 away games in all competition, and had won 12 of those games.

but thats still 8 draws...do you think that a 60% win ratio away from home is good enough? I dont.

  4. Stuttgart was 10x worse. At least we had the ball in their half even if we had no chance of scoring...

but stuttgart are a decent side, aberdeen are rotten. i cant believe the way we play these days. Players dont take anyone on, they run diagonally with their man and then pass to someone behind them. No1 in that side is capable of creatin something from nothin. Its a Disgrace. And yeah a suppose boyd had a few chances but the whole team was absolutely rank. :(

  5. Once again walter smith picks a horrible team. once again we create next to nothing. once again we have hardly any shots on target. once again mcculloch has a mare. once again whittaker has a mare. once again naismith has a mare. once again lafferty has a mare.

How many more times are we gonna have to watch this sorry excuse for a team play like that this season?

And i dont think smith, mccoist and mcdowell actually know wat the fuk to do anymore...

  6. All those asking for Lafferty to get taken off , why? <cr>

Winning the ball in the air , running the channels , why you not asking for Boyd

lol mate lafferty is fuckin garbage. he doesnt know wat the fuk to do!! did u see his sitter? jumpin for balls? no. Ball hittin off his head and goin nowhere. at least boyd looks like he'll score and gets into good positions. Ur obviously a Lafferty lover...but he is absolutly shite. pure and simple.

  7. Just saw that naismith and fleck are in for thomson and miller. Boughera still on the bench along with nacho and Steven smith!

    (tu)

WALTER SMITH has made two changes to the team which lost to Stuttgart in midweek for today's crucial SPL trip to Aberdeen.

Kevin Thomson and Kenny Miller have both dropped to the bench after the 2-0 defeat to the Germans in the Champions League.

That has created space for Steven Naismith to return from calf and hamstring injuries and he'll team up with Lee McCulloch in central midfield.

John Fleck is the other new face in the side and he starts on the left side of the park, with Kyle Lafferty moving up into attack beside Kris Boyd.

Manager Smith has kept the same defence that took part four days ago and that means there's still no return for Madjid Bougherra.

Danny Wilson, so impressive in recent weeks since coming into the first XI, retains his spot at the heart of the back line beside captain David Weir.

Bougherra takes his place on what is as strong a bench as Gers have had all season, with the likes of Nacho Novo and Stevie Smith also there.

Rangers have arrived in the Granite City looking to improve on what is a poor recent record there.

They've won just once in their last eight visits and that sole success came back in December 2006 as goals from Novo and Libor Sionko secured a 2-1 win.

You have to go back a further decade to find boss Smith's last win at Pittodrie in his first spell with the Light Blues.

just goes to show that no matter how bad you've been playing, if ur one of smiths favourites, u'll still be in the team. mcculloch, lafferty an whittaker were our worst players on tuesday yet start today. wat a fuckin joke. naismith and mcculloch Cm? smith is at the wind up. whys he playing fleck at LM? his best game was when he played just off boyd. doesn anyone remember the last time boyd and lafferty started up front? it was shocking.

  8. I've never 'hated' a Rangers player.

    cos they play for rangers?

McCulloch is horrible in every single way, i wouldnt say i hated him if i didnt see him in the papers every fuckin week talkin a complete power of shite. Sayin we'll win the treble and boyd is a nightmare to share a room with. Its obvious smith just sends him out to the media cos he canny run about and foul every cunt in training so there's no need for him. The guy makes me sick.

  9. Smith has to change it totally i think for Saturday and drop the underachievers

I'd push Whittaker up to right wing cos he can't defend worth a fuck and replace him with Boogie at right back.

drop McCulloch and Thomson and put in Davis and Fleck with Davis holding and Fleck attacking..Give Beasley a chance out left and give the team balance and Play Lafferty as a striker with Boyd

    -------------------McGregor---------------

    Boogie-----Weir-------------Wilson---------Papac

    Whitty---------Davis-------Fleck-----------Beasley

    --------Boyd--------------------Lafferty-

Lafferty and boyd is a worse strike force than when we played darcheville and cousin against aberdeen (thanks walter)

beasley is pish, he'll always be too lightweight and create absolutely fuck all! should never play again.

fleck in the middle with davis is an interestin prospect. No DM in the team tho, its aberdeen for fuk sake!

Whittaker should be dropped for that shocking display on tuesday. he is absolutely rotten. I'd play bougherrra at RB as well.

I'd play novo on the left and naismith if fit on the right. Miller and boyd up front.

McCulloch should be trainin with the 19's from now on. I actually Hate that cunt more than i've ever hated a gers player.

  10. Another big game comes along and another golden chance goes missing!

I'm not saying it's Kris Boyd's fault we lost, in fact far from it, but he should be finishing that chance with his eyes closed! Good strikers only need one chance to score.

If that was Kilmarnock, Falkirk, Hamilton etc then it would have been a goal. The fact is Kris Boyd is not cut out be a big game player.

, think boyd would of missed that 9 times outa 10 if im honest, he isnt the greatest header of the ball and if he had scored i think it would of been a brilliant header which boyd rarely comes up with.

  11. No matter what formation smith puts out, 3-4-3, 4-5-1, 4-4-2 or whatever, when he plays players like mcculloch, whittaker, lafferty there is not a hope in hell of playing decent let alone gettin a result. Never have i seen a team so narrow, with such a lack of movement and imagination. We play football at 5mph, we go 2-0 down and we sit and play like were 2-0 up. Something is seriously wrong at rangers. The team, the managements just pish. Really disappointed about tonight, but when we have 3 diddys and davis in midfield we cant expect to make chances :(

  12. i blame the goal on weir not being tight to his man when they played the one two.

but i agree whittaker was pish tonight.

i never thought id say it, but we need broadfoot

true weir was caught out as well but it could of been 4 before they scored their first. I went fuckin mental at the tv when the goal went in. I honestly dont know why mccoist and smith arent out screamin at him to concentrate. his tackling is laughable as well.

  13. I know everyone was poor tonight bar mcgregor and wilson but fuck me, how bad was whittaker, 4 or 5 times before the first goal i was screamin at him to watch his man, then he loses is man and they score, constantly in no mans land. defensively pish and contributes nothing goin forward.
