    I thought wilson was really good tonight, for his age and for how little he has played first team with us. Nice to see us having a good player coming through. I can honestly say i don't think boogy could have played any better tonight. Saved us off the goaline too and was always alert.

    I doubt McCulloch will start, afterall he's just back from injury.

    What i heard was Walter was wanting to have a go, and give Fleck and Wilson much needed experience at this level. Of course if we are winning then McCulloch etc will come on later on to protect our lead.

    Hope thats true. A lot of people say fleck n wilson are too young to play at this level, but maybe with fleck tonight a bit of youth and inventiveness would be exactly what we need?

    Lee n thommo in midfield would be more than capable of keeping us solid. Davis could be engineering moves from CM, and with Naismith n Novo on the wings as runners n Miller up front we could do some damage.

    I very much doubt our team will be laid out this way however

    Quality. This reminds me of Alistair Mcgowans football backchat. Anybody else remember this? it has to be the most under-rated thing ever. Anybody who hasnt seen it should try and find a copy somewhere.

    Welcome to Glasgow. See the sights, have a dram, enjoy the craic, help yourself to three points. So much for the city’s reputation for being a formidable, intimidating arena. Not in European football, not this season.

    Celtic and Rangers have played six home ties in the Champions or Europa Leagues this season, lost five and drawn the other. There has been a relentless, dizzying barrage for the Old Firm to endure.

    Both of them are bottom of their groups. Celtic were never in danger of suffering the sort of numbing embarrassment Unirea Urziceni inflicted on Rangers at Ibrox on Tuesday, yet the defeat to Hamburg brought its own distinct pain.

    Celtic worked the joint Bundesliga leaders hard, they buzzed their goal, they made a string of chances. But the familiar script unfolded: the cleanest piece of finishing of the night was applied by Marcus Berg, £12m-worth of striker who tore a low shot deep into the corner of Artur Boruc’s goal. The crashing sound was more of the stonework falling from Fortress Parkhead. Tony Mowbray has won two home games out of eight.

    Hamburg revelled in it. Who could have thought they had so many fans with Glasgow accents? The red, white and blue present throughout the solidly filled away section told an unusual story about what was going on at Parkhead.

    Numerous Hamburg fans had ploughed cash into Rangers’ coffers yesterday by buying tops, scarves and flags in the course of their city centre shopping. This was designed to goad Celtic although it was not entirely unprovoked.

    Celtic supporters have a thing going with the other club in Hamburg, little St Pauli, and it hadn’t gone unnoticed. A Celtic/St Pauli banner hung from the Jock Stein Stand to remind them of it. Hamburg’s logic was simple: if you lot like St Pauli, we like Rangers.

    This is shameful. Even the ITV4 commentator last night recognised our friendship from the early 70's. Portraying the Hamburg fans as bitter bastards who simply wish to aggravate the tims. Already e-mailed about this mistake, but i expect no reply. :anguish:

    Greetings from Hamburg to the great Rangers Fans. (I´m from Hamburg)

    I hope you liked the evening yesterday. It`s always funny to see the pissed faces of the Celtic Fans when we are singing "Glasgow Rangers" in their stadium. :lol:

    See some of you in two weeks in our stadium against fucking celtic? (maybe) Lets make a big Party that night
