  1. Personally I think it’s magic. Alfredo is the BEST forward in the country and he’s only doing what any one of us would love to do against celtic. I don’t know why folk get wound up at his lack of discipline, he IS a hothead but he’s also the top goal scorer in the league and could well fire us to the title so just enjoy their rage and bitterness, it only Spurs on the buffalo

  2. Aye it’s embarassing, any hint of hope/joy/fun is snuffed out, people taking their own personal problems out on the folk here, IMO. Lucky to have balanced pals to chat to about footy, fuck knows how you’d turn out if you sat and took in the opinions of the miserable on here

does it really matter? Why are folk so obsessed with our stadium capacity and attendance figures?

Fuck sake, a fellow supporter is asking a simple question, if you don’t think it matters just don’t post, don’t bring yer bad vibes here

  4. Listening to AC/DC and just wondering why we aren’t all clapping and bouncing about at games singing “Na-na-na-na Rangers” to ACDCS Thunderstruck?

anybody else think this would be a belter or am I biased?

Thats worse, if a player is ultimately shite no matter how much they put in, then fair enough, they have tried and its not worked out, when a player has the ability but is a shiftless shitebag bastard then they need kicked in the baws or kicked out the club, preferably both

Him and Tav I’m sure have the best stats (goals and assists) of last year I thought, Is what I mean. Ridiculous to question Gerrard as a manager for wanting him to stay

But look how it ended for McCulloch.

People ended up resenting him because he just couldn’t cut it anymore and started playing in centre back (McCoists fault for still playing him). Wallace definitely regressed as a result of sticking with us and although he’s not up to it anymore (in my eyes) it’s a shame that it’s going to end on a sour note for him too. These guys didn’t volunteer as they still got paid well but at the same time they could have refused to TUPE and get a move elsewhere.

Mcculloch was older and not likely to be in the Scotland squad bu Wallace could have been.

Whittaker, Naismith, mcGregor and Lafferty were all in their nations national squad at the time IIRC therefore it’s perhaps easier to understand but at the same time still unforgivable.

The press conference really is what sets Whittaker and Naismith apart from McGregor, Lafferty and Davis but it doesn’t mean we welcome them with open arms.

He’ll need to earn our trust and respect and those are hard to earn and easy to piss away as they all did in 2012.

    Agree about the press conference.

Personally guys like Mculloch are heroes to me, even Mccoist, and I’m not the type of fan to slag them because they were bad at their jobs, they gave everything in my eyes.

    McGregor makes good business sense

He’s very excited to be back, once he learned we were interested it was a, wait for it, no-brainer.

He made no mention of the circumstances when leaving nor was asked about it since it’s an RTV interview.

The one thing he said that stuck out was that he wants to help out the club I a]no any way he can. For me that implies he wants to make amends without actually saying it.

As I said he could have stayed with Hull, where he just won player of the year,  and no doubt be paid more than being here or gone to Leeds and have the same sort of money but he chose to come home.

He’ll have to work hard to win anyone over but that bodes well for us and I can see it being one of those difficult decisions to make that is done for the greater good.

I’m totally level headed about it and you’re right in what you say, but then I think about someone like Mculloch and what he did for us and I can’t help but resent McGregor. Like I say I’d love to see him win us all over but it’s a tall order

  8. This has been one of the toughest seasons to suffer but to be fair we’re not far off celtic in terms of points, and if we hadn’t got beat off utter shite this year we’d be title contenders.

Would love to see a clear out of all the shite we have hiding in our team, and with some good defenders we could do well next year.

If we sign good players and we get a good manager, next year could be exciting

  9. Must admit, in the video of Halliday shouting at (presumeably) Murty, I did notice JN doesn’t move an inch. Obviously don’t know the full story but if a player was roasting the manager publicly like that, I’d probably expect JN to say something, or even try to move Halliday on. Might just be looking too much into it
