If recent reports are true that he has accepted £1 for his shares as opposed to a £6M lump sum then I think he will gain a little respect back which has been all but lost in the past few years.
If he wants to come out and slate the fans afterwards then he will completely lose any respect or fond memories any of the fans had for him .
I would hope he will admit he has made mistakes, move on and thank the fans for everything.
We as fans and also as a club should also have learned valuable lessons under his tenure in charge so I would hope we can both move on and part amicably.

When I went tae ma scratcher last night, I was a fan of a club that was £33m in debt, struggling tae field a team due to the size of our squad, struggling tae win 3 IAR if they don't get their act together, an invisible Chairman who has never stood up for the club or it's fans, a CEO who bleeds us dry, a stadium that's nearly in as big a mess as the area it proudly sits in, and talk of Administration.
Today, it looks very, very likely we'll have a new owner, our debt will be wiped out, we've still to receive CL money for this season, we'll be able tae add tae the squad, and the players will get a huge lift with this and drive on and win 3 IAR.
And some folk are still no fuckin happy!
If this goes through, at least wait and see what their plans are.

These guys are businessmen, and I'm sure they'll be well aware of the potential to make a bob or 2 as the new owners of the club BUT keep it successful, and the fans on side.
