  1. I am working on that just now as I have many Italian Bear amigos that I have known for years - I have even an Italian Rangers Supporters facebook page look it up sometime and join to up the numbers - we have around 300 after only a week and the new website has a bit more - we are trying to get a direct link as they have to us and RM
  2. True I have a Italian Rangers Suporters facebook fanclub with 300 members and also a new website has started with about the same number - so we are trying to connect them all together and interact them with Bears from all over ! They love their football maybe 2nd to us Scots - but are really enthuisastic when you talk to them about the Gers and matches - No Surrender
  3. Maybe this is why they have turned it down because they are sick of sitting on the bench when they have put on sterling performances in the past just to be dumped the next game. Maybe they got a 50% pay increase and were told that their playing chances were still limited, there is just too much we dont know before start calling them dafties and saying how dear they turn a contract from RFC. Until we know roughly how much they were offered and on how long of a deal before just blaming one side. Just forgot to add, how many times do you accept the first deal, if rangers think highly enough of them they will be offered another deal, if not then it is better for them to move on. ???? Don't agree mate that is part and parcelof the game and it used to be they would have been cleaning boots for the others....but they are still kids and getting on in some crucial matches , but they are not 100% ready IMO That is why they seem to be spitting the dummy by refusing the contracts - they need to grow up in my book and learn as most footballers have done over the years - they have a wealth of talented players and coaches to help them progress to be even better equipped for such moves The way it stands they will be warming benches down south if they even get onto them and will regret any move now - So unless the agents know something Rangers don't they are being silly little spoilt bigheads just now at a time when Rangers need them just now and this is the pay back they show the club and Walter for giving them their break ? 1 more chance and then sorry but we are not here to accomodate your tantrums - lucky if any EPL side pays 2 mill for them both maybe 1.5 mill for Fleck and 1.5 mill for Wilson MAX ! kids are ten a penny down south with their promise and with the worldwide soccerschools why spend when they get South Americans over free ? They would regret the move in my eyes !

  5. sorry entered same twice and don't know how to delete but 1 other thing does anyone know who the players agents are ?
  6. Ting is as I said in my article above they are being stupid IMO as they need to learn the trade here before even contenplating a big EPL side - Danny is best learning from Weir for another season at least as he could go far and Fleck needs to come back down to earth as he may have shone in the U19's but he hasn't yet turned it on in the SPL let alone EPL - Cup games he was nothing outstanding and I have no doubt he is a good player - but how good ? They need to come down to planet earth and listen to those around and play out another half or IMO a season - Sure Fleck was being valued at 3 mill last season from Fergie but his scout has watched him for a season now in bounce games, reserve games and the odd first team match and no offer has emerged. United have the best youths from all over the world getting snapped up all the time for a lot less - they have 2 Brazilian full backs that are in the teens that were no big cash deals yet these 2 Gers youngsters think they can go down and get a better chance of playing in big games there than here - NO CHANCE ! At least they can taste European matches at Rangers, also success with SPL and Cups - whilst improving by listening and getting stronger and fitter at a fantastic training facility in Murray Park. I too have also seen lads at 16,17,18 go down south CB and the career ruined by many things - home sick, injury, trying to hard and nerves setting in etc - but I do think should be given another contract to mull over, if they say No - well put them on the market, but don't sell unless it is big offers and then they can think what they are doing whilst sitting on a bench at Motherwell on a cold day if no one does come in for them - learn the hard way I think is a sure remedy . Don't get me wrong I wish them all the best but they are Rangers players and should honour Walters confidence in bringing them into the first team squad and show some loyalty as our squad is quite thin on the run in to the SPL Title race. Anyone else think I am speaking sense or should we just let them go for pennies - when we could have had 2 greats to banter prices with in summer or further down the line ?
  7. Maybe get back on to topic now - and I am curious as to what the Bears feel about this situation with the young lads and contracts etc - let them go - Man Utd were on about a 2-3 million bid for Fleck last season at one point ?
  8. No probs bud - just sometimes I get annoyed when fellow Bears try and get one over on another with trivial stuff instead of talking about the matter in hand or the story of the day that's all - PM anytime and lets go win this SPL - see Davis and Novo are fit - Bougherra will be back but Walter may play Danny ? Thommo is fit and Lee isn't - maybe just tactical talk but so far I hear that Miller and Lafferty will be Walters choice - with Millers form surely big Laffy can start scoring and show us why Wattie bought him for 4 million eh ? We shall not be moved ! mate i wasnt trying to get one over but he deffo made his debut after Walter was gone 2002-2003 season and walter was away march 02 haha by the way you are still on about it you are clearly wanting to win this - so I will give it to you without checking - but Rooney was Walters prodigal child and he nurtured and made sure he was training the right way - Rooney has alot to thank him for - anyway what would you do Miller-Lafferty - Miller-Novo or if fit Miller- Naisy ?
  9. 10. Rooney would have been about 13/14 when walter was at Everton Just turned 16 in 2002 he had been at Everton since he was 10 and Walter nurtured him - he scored on his debut then Walter left and I am sure Moyes took over then anyway who cares really - Why are people so quick to try and get 1 up instead of reading the article and debating or agreeing or talking about the more important things - we are all Bears trying to get news and views not slate others ?
  11. Do this again in a month or so CR and watch Europe soar up - with the Italian job I am working on bro ! The Costa Blanca Loyal are mostly too old to use PC's LOL but I am surprised Spain(Europe )is not higher as there are 3 SC's within 30 mins of me and another 2 in Benidorm ? I will put money on Europe going up by 10-15% in 5 weeks ish ! Costa
  12. trezeguet just edged the strikers position, hes on the bench. Is this true now why would a new owner buy hasbeens and players of 45 years of age anyway ??????? deary me Below - Ibrox getting uplift to hold 125,000 as well as the new tea lady
  13. Walter Smith kept Fleck wrapped up in cotton wool as he did with Rooney at Everton - difference was Rooney blasted onto the scene and was stocky and very very quick - but he still never played him every match 1st season - he eased him in ! Those who are comparing Fleck with Rooney have their heads in the clouds - sure the kid is good and we have not yet seen the best of him but this season the way things have been there has not been much call for him with players starting to shine - proven players but WS will give him his chance and this final push was no doubtedly when he had him in mind ! Wilson has stepped in and been a god send and Walter has honoured that but he can't keep Bougherra out witha 17 year old instead..that would be stupid - the nerves showed against Septic - but the kid will go on to bigger and better things for sure BUT why they are refusing to sign incase ManUtd come calling ? Aye OK ! Then get ready to have a sore arse then lads - stay at Rangers and win some medals - become local heroes and then in 2 maybe 3 years you may be worth mega bucks who knows but the EPL is a big bad hard league and you are not good enough yet anyway - someone bang there heads together ! If Fleck and Wilson turn down new contracts - someone must ask them who the hell do they think they are at 18 playing for great cash - great fans - in Europe - winning medals and still only bairns - their time will come and soon I felt until this came out ? They are no where near ready for the EPL IMO and have still to do their trade in Scotland, the time is close for them breaking into the Rangers side but only if they show enough hunger - they will be playing in Champions League against the worlds best and in massive games , winning medals and then after 2-3 years prices go up and they can give it a go if that is what they want when thbey have finally grown pubes - move to Man Utd and they will be Mr Y and Mr J out of about 30 kids playing similar positions trying to break through - eejits - stay at Rangers or in fact if that is your big headed self opinion go ! Isanyone else thinking along the same lines as me - how many young lads have left Scotland too soon and it has ruined them ?
  14. So do I and Lafferty has no excuses IMO - he was brought to Rangers at near 4 million as a forward and has moaned about not getting a start in his natural position enough - so with Miller on fire - running and making space and firing balls in from everywhere surely big Kyle will get a few goals to up his confidence ! This may kick start his career but he will know Naisy will be breathing down his neck so he must become a Rangers striker and not just speak a good game - I hope with Millers help he can bag a few and help his confidence ! We shall have to wait and see whilst biting my nails throughout January .
  15. He was sold by Liewell against Strachans wishes, as they had to finance the signing of Scot Brown. Kenny didnt have much say on it other than agreeing to go. And he cost us £1.9M, but the rest is true-he is vital to our success. I was under the impression he left off his own back - and in fact can remember reading a paper report saying he and his agent wanted to move as he was not getting enough games and wanted to move back down south BUT you sound as if you know more about the situation than me BUt that is all you could say about the post mate ? No input on your thoughts on Miller's partner - it has to be Lafferty even if Naisy is match fit does it not ?
  16. Sadly when you shell out 3.5million on a guy and your two leading frontmen are out, to drop the big money player would be a huge statement i doubt Watty has the balls to make to be honest. Lafferty will play and Smith will hope he finds some form (phew almost said he'll "cross his fingers" ) Tumshie makes a good point - surely Hamilton away against a shite defence is the ideal time to blood Fleck in the strikers role. Remember last year around this time when Flecky came good and it was like a new signing. Boy do we need that same effect now. A full 90 minutes up front - playing off Lafferty - would i think be an exciting partnership and id have confidence the kid could wreak havoc. Good post Mccoist and true Walter and we must expect Lafferty to step up now and prove he is a true blue - with Miller playing as well as he has been , he should have no excuses - Miller does all the donkey work and he runs all day and makes space and finds his partner(Boydie) but he is always aware of what is around him . Yes-he gets some slating for not being the greatest finisher but even that was going for him of late ! Lafferty has to prove his worth - he speaks a good game and there has been flashes - he seems quick at times and surely he must be relishing this opportunity to play the role he feels he was brought to Rangers for ! Naismith is fit again but match fit - maybe not quite - he also gives Walter choice as Naisy IMO is also a better attacker than wide player - so if Lafferty isn't doing it step up Naisy ........ as for young Fleck - he is fit and I feel he has been left out due to some great performances from others in Novo, Beasley, Davis, McCulloch,Thommo etc and maybe WS was teaching him a wee lesson as rumour has it but could just be pub talk ! Also Little is a youngster that has great promise as has Rory Loy as attacking players - but that would be us caught very, very thin if we were forced to play them but nice to give them 15-20 mins if we were in a position to but with 8 players out or not available Walter must be dreading the an window - as am I - I am really worried - even if we stated we are not selling, don't need to sell and won't be selling u ntil it's over I will be very worried will you not ?
  17. The lad IMO is unbelielivable - His career has been up and down YET he had the balls to move from Hibs-Rangers- Wolves-Celtic then walk out on Timmy ( for any Tims that try and tell us he is a reject) he chose to leave for his own career - which was a great move by him - he went to Derby and was one of Walters first buys at what a mere 1 million He has always been a trier and fast - he is a great athlete but gets slated for not being an out and out finisher and missing too many chances - but for the first time since coming back to ther Gers Walter Smith said at Christmas - this is the first time he has been free of any injury or niggles as had Novo since he came as manager and then - you guessed it - they picked up slight knocks ! Kenny has started knocking them in and his partnership with Boyd is special - he does the donkey work and will run all day and knows where Boydie will be 9 out of 10 times - I hope Boyd gets back soon so we can start banging them in again BUT it is time for Lafferty to put his money where his mouth is and step up - maybe Naisy and Miller is another option until Novo gets back too - Miller is now key to the attackers and will be first down to be partnered with Mr X and maybe he will help Lafferty kick start his Ibrox career. What duo would you pick with Kenny Lafferty-Miller Naismith-Miller Novo-Miller Little-Miller Loy-Miller or any others you can think of that are gonnae be fit soon ?
  18. I don't know how many we have out on loan but we had about 4 or 5 I think but what is the score - can we not call them back whenever we want - as they are our players ? Can anyone answer this - or is it different with each player ? Velicka went to Bristol City and the poor beggar was injured after only 60 minutes I remember and he is out for season Andy Webster on loan at Dun Unt till end of May - anyone know if we can call him back/or does that not applythesedays Jordan Macmillan went to Queen of the South and is also out on loan till end of May Gary Inglus also at Hamilton till end of season Maybe another few young lads but I don't know - I was just thin king if we are scraping the barrell surely we can call back our own players ? We are 8 players down just now and unless we could get a couple of players on loan (as we were meant to with Man Utd but that is scepticle IMO) or if we can get a free - Durrant was over watching in the USA at a winger last week but we may be in a bad bad way especially if any players leave in the January window also ! Players are dropping like flies and we have knocks and some serous injuries also - so I hope the New Chairman's word to Walter quoting " We don't need or want to sell any players" is true - s for Mendes - he may want to leave and go home to end his career - also giving himself a better chance to play what would be his last ever World Cup - who knows with that situation yet ? Anyway just a thought Webster and Macmillan would be a decent pull back for help with depth in the side - maybe I am panicking a bit but it looks pretty dire just now looking at the sides injuries and with the window coming up - does it not ?
  19. I read a story in the Guardian that states Boyd is injured for a month http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/ja...ernia-operation all you need to know in there - as i did with Boyd but it was deleted and no one can tell me why - no admins I am sure soem smart erse will come up with something ! Boydie_Scots_no_1.bmp
  20. I was over the moon when I read this in the Guardian this morning ! I then checked News Now Rangers and many posts are the same or similar ! At last what HE needed - respect and reassurrance from the Rangers board - also what WE need as fans, signs that we are not being taken for a ride and lied to constantly over players etc, hopefully the new Chairmans word is true to his actions and we don't need or want to sell any players - Mendes may wish to go back to Portugal(home) and more of a chance for him to get in World Cup Squad ? Either way - Good news lets just hope the window is going to be the same - I was shitting a brick over it now I am just shitting stones !!! pardon the pun lol Rangers want Kris Boyd to stay at Ibrox. Photograph: Lynne Cameron/PA Rangers have made Kris Boyd an offer of a new contract worth £18,000 a week in an attempt to keep the prolific striker at Ibrox. Boyd, who is being tracked by Middlesbrough and Birmingham City, is keen to remain at Ibrox at least until the end of his current deal in the summer. Rangers' offer represents an increase of £6,000 a week on his current salary. Rangers' financial troubles have been well documented recently but it seems they are willing to push the boat out to keep the Scottish Premier League's record goalscorer. Boydie_Scots_no_1.bmp
  21. Great post but Mendes is on 30k a week - Bazza went mental when he was signed as he was meant to be on more 35k I think and Bazza was on the same - because he was captain he took a fit - so they lowered it to 30k - which adds up in a season - even more if he is injured ! really? if true thats disgusting and sums that wee tit up, never a Rangers captain in his life never mind feckin legend! You're actually going to take that at face value? it does sound very like Barry There is no way under any circumstances that they would have or even been able to lower Pedro's wage. just because Barry wanted it Just like there would be no way a manager would be sacked because Barry fell out with him...... I repeat again for Scott No mate it was common knowledge in certain circles and I heard from my fathers cronies as well as another very good source that plays for the club - last time I went home to Ayrshire - so NO that is not a face value BS post - I am old enough and brainy enough not to lie and especially with things like this as they would tend to back fire - BELIEVE IT Bears - Mendes and his agent were very surprised as the story goes and took the cut without a flicker of the eye lids - after all he was on a bit less at Pompey and Spurs ! There is no way under any circumstances that they would have or even been able to lower Pedro's wage. just because Barry wanted it Quote from Scott-RFC - of course not, this was when he first arrived and Bazza was fuming and the agents and players had a big barny - as I say some people like you wont believe anything even if they are proven wrong - but this is gospel as many Bears know ! And btw those who are saying they wouldn't change his pay - they didn't - it was when he signed on - Bazza felt as Captain he should be highest paid and they had a barny with agents etc and as I said above it all got sorted - But hey I don't care if you believe or not - I know it's true and my sources are solid ! great_chelsearangers.bmp

  23. Even though I can't ever remember him playing left back for us? He was still a centre mid until he left us. Also where in Spain is Rotterdam? Sarcasim is the lowest form of wit and YES he played LB and LM and don't know where you get the central role from - so you are quick to try and make me look stupid - away and check the record books and you will see VB was a left back and a left midfield as he was at Barca also - so think before you post brother Yes I made the mistake - he is Dutch I know - I meant to say how well he did in spain ! BY THE WAY - where is your team superman that knows his history - yes his history is different from ours LOL - only joking but when you attack someone make sure your facts are true bro - deary me !!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_van_Bronckhorst Just had a thought - google it and you can apologise anytime matey ! SO AGAIN HERE'S MA TEAM - AND YES YOU MAY THINK DIFFERENT -THATS THE FUN IN IT AINT IT MAN - HEY BARCA WILL I MOVE BAXTER TO THE LEFT AND VAN BRONK TO CENTRE hahahahahaha DEARY ME - A SLATING OF THE WORST - I FEEL EMBARRESSED FOR BARCA NOW - I KNOW MA RANGERS OK ! so lesson learned - go and look up Rangers History as I cannot see your eleven on here - why not ? you are here slaggin - eh oh !! My 11 would be as follows - with some only via video and forefathers and old bears talk - so here's the past x amount of years then I might put the past 30 years ............ Andy Goram- best keeper ever IMO, some of his reflex saves and point blankers were immense Allan Hutton RB - again this is due to the fact I watched him progress and his pace and crossing and passing was also great - I was thinking of Sandy Jardine but again I never watched enough of him Richard Gough CD- I don't care what anyone thinks - he was our best Captain and put his head where no other would - great leader with respect from all fans and managerial staff alike ! John Greig CD- A Gers legend and a hard but fair man - my fathers hero along with another couple and he shall forever be a Ranger Van-Bronkhurst LB- hard decision with Dave Robertson also being a contender as well as others you will maybe think better - but this Spaniard went on to do it all at Barcelona and was a stand out player - quick with deadly shooting and passing - he is my left back ! Brian Laudrup RM(flexible)- Another hard decision between him and Willie Henderson - Laudrup had it all, versatile on the ball and with both feet and was great at passing and shooting - where willie was agreat wee dribbler and passer I don't know if he and Brian were in the same league - not much between them ! Slim Jim Baxter CM- without a doubt - fighting off Sounness, Wilkins, Fergie and many more but this man was Rangers - I would have loved to have been at Wembley when he turned it on - I would have loved just to see him play A partner in the middle for Jim ? HARDEST CHOICE Gazza AM- Fighting off Sounness, Fergie, John Brown, I.Ferguson, Wilkins etc.etc - but due to his flair and cheeky play as well as being able to take stick and produce some of the best footie I have ever seen at Rangers Davie Cooper LM - No other in my mind could fit his boots - we were truly lucky to have had him at our club ! No doubt here Bears Mark Hateley Attacker -- A great Scot and English legend who played at some massive clubs before coming to the blue seas and forming the best partnership in Britain with Coisty - Mark's height was used to knock down for Coist but he was also a great goalscorer with head as well as feet Ally McCoist Forward- - best goalscorer ever to grace Ibrox - he had a great relationship with Hateley as men tioned but the wee man could score with his back, thigh, shin knee - anything - a goal poacher and Golden Boot winner for breaking every record in Scotland with most goals etc - now he is men tor for another great fi nisher in Kris Boyd who will be up with the best if he stays - I also forgot to mention SAM ENGLISH who if you don't know the story google him, but was a prolific striker also THERE YOU GO HOPE YOU LIKE IT - BELOW I WILL PUT SOME SUBS BUT TOO MANY TO MENTION I WOULD BE USING A ROTATION SYSTEM AS SO MANY GREATS WITH DIFFERENT SKILLS - SO THE SUBS ARE NOT THERE BECAUSE I PREFER OTHERS JUST TO HAVE AS SECRET WEAPONS LOL Allan MacGregor GK- Current keeper who is still learning and getting better - toss up between him and Klos but All will get better and is a saviour to us in many a game Eric Caldow Def- Yet another legend from 60's/70's and stilltalked of today - I have watched clips but again it is hard to judge ? Barry Ferguson CM - - This is going by his work to the engine room before he went down south - he was a great Captain then and for that he is inthe side Colin Stein For- - Again an older Bear who was in the winning Cup Winners Cup side up front - apparently he was also a graet forward ! Cutty Young RW- A hero from my home voillage in Ayrshire, I have heard so much about him and watched my fathers videos for years - only fair he gets in the squad ! Kris Boyd CF- - I love him - all the slating and critics yet he continues to prove wrong by doing what he is there for - SCORING - ff's - why do you think EPL -French and German clubs are after him - he has worked hard on his game as you can see him falling back to link with wide players......He is worth a lot of money and would easy cut in in the EPL - give him service - he will score - so what if he doesn't run around like aheadless chicken - neither did Raul or does Inzaghi - they are box players - old fashioned goal poachers and with a variety of attackers this works - Boyd must stay ! I have missed out a good few crackers but that is why it is so hard - we as a club could have built 5 great sides from 50 years up - No Surrender ! ! great_chelsearangers.bmp
