My 11 would be as follows - with some only via video and forefathers and old bears talk - so here's the past x amount of years then I might put the past 30 years ............ Andy Goram- best keeper ever IMO, some of his reflex saves and point blankers were immense Allan Hutton RB - again this is due to the fact I watched him progress and his pace and crossing and passing was also great - I was thinking of Sandy Jardine but again I never watched enough of him Richard Gough CD- I don't care what anyone thinks - he was our best Captain and put his head where no other would - great leader with respect from all fans and managerial staff alike ! John Greig CD- A Gers legend and a hard but fair man - my fathers hero along with another couple and he shall forever be a Ranger Van-Bronkhurst LB- hard decision with Dave Robertson also being a contender as well as others you will maybe think better - but this Spaniard went on to do it all at Barcelona and was a stand out player - quick with deadly shooting and passing - he is my left back ! Brian Laudrup RM(flexible)- Another hard decision between him and Willie Henderson - Laudrup had it all, versatile on the ball and with both feet and was great at passing and shooting - where willie was agreat wee dribbler and passer I don't know if he and Brian were in the same league - not much between them ! Slim Jim Baxter CM- without a doubt - fighting off Sounness, Wilkins, Fergie and many more but this man was Rangers - I would have loved to have been at Wembley when he turned it on - I would have loved just to see him play A partner in the middle for Jim ? HARDEST CHOICE Gazza AM- Fighting off Sounness, Fergie, John Brown, I.Ferguson, Wilkins etc.etc - but due to his flair and cheeky play as well as being able to take stick and produce some of the best footie I have ever seen at Rangers Davie Cooper LM - No other in my mind could fit his boots - we were truly lucky to have had him at our club ! No doubt here Bears Mark Hateley Attacker -- A great Scot and English legend who played at some massive clubs before coming to the blue seas and forming the best partnership in Britain with Coisty - Mark's height was used to knock down for Coist but he was also a great goalscorer with head as well as feet Ally McCoist Forward- - best goalscorer ever to grace Ibrox - he had a great relationship with Hateley as men tioned but the wee man could score with his back, thigh, shin knee - anything - a goal poacher and Golden Boot winner for breaking every record in Scotland with most goals etc - now he is men tor for another great fi nisher in Kris Boyd who will be up with the best if he stays - I also forgot to mention SAM ENGLISH who if you don't know the story google him, but was a prolific striker also THERE YOU GO HOPE YOU LIKE IT - BELOW I WILL PUT SOME SUBS BUT TOO MANY TO MENTION I WOULD BE USING A ROTATION SYSTEM AS SO MANY GREATS WITH DIFFERENT SKILLS - SO THE SUBS ARE NOT THERE BECAUSE I PREFER OTHERS JUST TO HAVE AS SECRET WEAPONS LOL Allan MacGregor GK- Current keeper who is still learning and getting better - toss up between him and Klos but All will get better and is a saviour to us in many a game Eric Caldow Def- Yet another legend from 60's/70's and stilltalked of today - I have watched clips but again it is hard to judge ? Barry Ferguson CM - - This is going by his work to the engine room before he went down south - he was a great Captain then and for that he is inthe side Colin Stein For- - Again an older Bear who was in the winning Cup Winners Cup side up front - apparently he was also a graet forward ! Cutty Young RW- A hero from my home voillage in Ayrshire, I have heard so much about him and watched my fathers videos for years - only fair he gets in the squad ! Kris Boyd CF- - I love him - all the slating and critics yet he continues to prove wrong by doing what he is there for - SCORING - ff's - why do you think EPL -French and German clubs are after him - he has worked hard on his game as you can see him falling back to link with wide players......He is worth a lot of money and would easy cut in in the EPL - give him service - he will score - so what if he doesn't run around like aheadless chicken - neither did Raul or does Inzaghi - they are box players - old fashioned goal poachers and with a variety of attackers this works - Boyd must stay ! No - It is not the players fault they need our support - I don't even think Walter is to blame as he has made promises before and Murray went over his head - I do feel however that WS and Coisty would threaten to walk if the board agree to sell certain players as Walter and Ally have both stated this week that "The Rangers Board have told them No players need to be sold" - So Walter - who has stayed on without his own contract being secured will surely have made some agreements and negotiations with the new Chairman - I was under the illussion that we had made an agreement with the bank for a short while anyway (unless the report was wrong - Scotsman I think) agreeing to give us more time to pay x amount at a time IF that true it is obviously Murray who is needing cash for his own businness that is owing millions ? To me any man at Rangers with the clubs interests at heart would realise it is in our best interests to keep Boyd - if only till summer to win us the SPL and another lump sum from Champions League rather than sell players for peanuts now and then be cash strapped and needing to sell again in summer - thats my take on the situation - anyone else shed light or agree - Walter knows we cannot really afford to lose any player - MENDES - maybe 30k a week but for 1.5 mill is IMO still pennies ! I would be all for a whipp round to keep Boyd - If every Bear put in 10 pound minimum and Rangers agreed to do this if we came up with X amount I would without a doubt - Rangers fans tried this with Jim Baxter (but it failed) and it may seem far fetched but it could work I think - As it is this could mean missing out on the CL Groups and then we would be in deeper and as it is we can change that if the board played ball and were A)honest and B) willing to listen to fans with a spokesman ! Boyd & Miller too - OK Miller misses a hell of a lot but look at his tally so far and he has notched a couple of important goals as has Boydy and he always will if playing. I agree Miller is a sub player in a good Gers side but we are very mediocre, not saying the players are...but we cannot seem to gel and are caught out of position - bring back Mendes - Edu and Kirkie - that's like 3 new players and they will want to fight for the right to play. Too many Bears jump down the throat of players after 1 bad match then next week when i.e. Miller gets a brace against Timmy - he's Rangers quality again - c'moan Bears a happy medium is needed ! Edu has a lot to prove and show, he has a 5 year contract and will improve weekly into a very quick midfielder and can even play CD, Mendes we have missed - any groans of Bull shit - well strange Portugal have re-called him to World Cup squad after a year out isn't it ? or are they stupid also......NO is the answer. Big Kirk - can play in the Centre and can progress with confidence, face it he was doing awesome until 1 mistake against Timmy, apart from that he was rock solid and he was captain of St Midden in that position - but I am not yakking on for much more, just like to see a bit of time given to these lads coming back from long term injury like Thomson, Smith, Beasley - it will take am onth or two - Gers fro the treble !

IF That was true Walter would be begging in the street for cash for the deal - would be great but that is pub talk mate ! When we were near the end of the SPL last season - Hutton expressed he would return to Ibrox if we won the SPL and got into the CL - and Spurs would have sold for 5 mill, but Rangers weren't interested or rather Murray wasn't due to cash BUT NO WAY would that swap deal be on the cards and we wouldn't know even if it was ! great_chelsearangers.bmp

Is FF not full of moderators etc that were on the RST board - Dingwall was high up was he not, so if that is the case are they elected in or what.....say I wanted to take a major role - could I or is it who you know type thing ? I know a lot of fall outs went on a few months back for defo ! I have read numerous statements from the RST in the past and what they were saying they were aiming to try and do sounded great BUT I never heard anymore? This was on a few occassions - but the idea and if ran properly would be a great group to have on our side - the fans voice to talk to Ran gers on issues WE need to know about - Things we want to put forward - To feel as if we are taken seriously by the club - We are Rangers and we should get the appreciation we deserve IMO ! I saw him play and he was ok, a decent player. He really used his elbows well. Similar to Maxie Murray in that way. Cannot remember exactly why he left, but I think there was something about his wife being a Catholic. Was his father not a catholic and did that not have something to do with it ? I wuill ask ma pal Johnboy as he is close to Darren and he might know - will get back to this wan ?

KEV what does Durrant do for the club: you seem to be his saviour Durrant is a first team coach and is still involved with the reserves and keeps Walter up to date with how the reserve players are doing, and yes he is also a scout for Rangers - so he is still involved massively and is looking to become first team assistant manager when Walter leaves - so I am told

Cannot agree with Mendes - the Portugese have asked him back into the world cup squad - so that alone tells it's own story - McGregor could go for 6-7million I would say and Boughie 5-6mill also but if we had to sell players it has to be McGregor as he is worth most and we do have a good back up in Alexander - that way we lose a great goalie for good cash but have the position covered even if it is just for a short while ! just ma opinion untitled_badge.bmp
