  1. Laughable, isn't it? No-one is interested in anyone but us yet the SPL clubs still need us to prop up their failed businesses.
  2. Their remit is to hear the evidence presented against Rangers. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a nonsense to think they'll broaden this out of their own volition.
  3. Very, very poor statement. In what way is this helpful?
  4. What proof? I keep hearing about dual contracts. This implies Rangers said we'd pay someone £10k per week, lodged this with the SPL then gave them another contract saying we'd give them another £10k via an EBT. My understanding is the players got one contract but some payments were using an EBT so the players could avoid tax and their NET take home was more.
  5. I agree. The panel should be contacting the executive team from RFC over that period if they are serious about getting to the truth. This would involve contacting the Chairman, CEO and FD at the least. I also find it odd they are not contacting ex-players asking them to provide statements.
  6. Nimmo Smith asked for all concerned parties to contact them. I'd imagine Murray falls under this so he would be free to go and defend his remuneration policy whilst holding company owner.
  7. Seems the press have the bit between their teeth now. I hope this is true and is positive news for us.
  8. Why would the SFA/SPL run the risk of this going to court and all comIng out in the wash? Omnishambles. Taking them a long time to release a statement also. I fully expect an all out attack on Rangers and Green.
  9. This is beside the point. How can it be said that two trophies were won fairly but the other one wasn't? It's an absolute clusterfuck.
  10. Very true, not one media poodle has questioned fat Pedro's "whiff of paranoia from Ibrox" barb of last week. What does surprise me about all this is they weren't prepared for this to come out. They are a a Tucker-esque omnishambles. "What is this? Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Cunt?"
  11. If the SFA dare come out and say "draft document, worst case scenario etc etc" then it begs the questions: Why would you, as a first draft, have a worst case for Rangers scenario? Who drafted the document? Who came up with the sanctions? Would you have been happy for Rangers to accept it?
  12. Campbell, you're a very wealth man. You don't need the SFA's thirty pieces of silver. Now is your time to step forward and blow the whistle on what has happened at the SFA/SPL and their joint efforts to bury the Club you once worked for, the Club you told me you loved.
  13. The two CEO's are refusing to do interviews. They're far from home and don't feel comfortable. Alasdair Lamont‏@BBCAlLamont The SPL's chief exec Neil Doncaster has declined to be interviewed today on reports they wanted Rangers to accept the stripping of titles in negotiations over summer. He feels it would be inappropriate given the imminent commission to examine alleged use of dual contracts The Scottish Football Association's Stewart Regan won't speak either, but the SFA does plan to release statement today or tomorrow.
  14. Have you tried phoning Traynor or someone else in the media and ask them to contact the clubs and ask the questions?
  15. Is it safe to assume the League Cups and Scottish Cups are secure as neither the SFA or SFL has set up their own commission? Or does this decision hang on the SPL's commission and outcome? How can there be any credibility to title stripping if we retain the Scottish Cups and League Cups? How could the SFA uphold title stripping if they themselves have not sought to strip us of Scottish Cups?
  16. Excellent questions the hack pack should be asking. Who have you spoken to at each Club?
  17. Completely agree Mo. Why is it that the journalists in Scotland seem to be completely incapable of asking the searching questions where this case and the SPL/SFA's handling of the situation is concerned? They are either not very good at their jobs or they just don't want the questions answered.
  18. Completely agree. The point I'm trying to make however is that such a grave error of judgement by the SFA should result in head's rolling. It really is beyond the pale that they agreed to put this to Rangers.
  19. Also, investigating the SFA/SPL is not in the remit of Nimmo Smith so it's an incredibly stupid statement by English that starts his piece. If he had any balls he'd have a completely seperate article demanding an independent enquiry into the SFA/SPL handling of this situation.
  20. Usual tripe from a Rangers hater that likes to put up a pretence of neutrality. Anyone notice the Jocko hack pack's constant ploy of dismissing Charles Green's viewpoint? They never actually address or analyse his statements, they just dismiss them.
  21. Isn't it funny that we are dismissed as "internet cranks" and yet when it comes to other clubs their messageboards were given so much credence by the media, and governing bodies?
  22. Any journalist worth his salt should be asking Regan and Doncaster the following: Do you believe in due process? Do you believe in natural justice? Do you believe in innocent until proven guilty? If the answer to all of the above is "Yes" then the question that must be answered is this: Where does this leave your credibility given the legally drawn up, first draft of the five way agreement that presented what you wanted Rangers to agree to? In this document you wanted: No investigation into EBTs/Dual contracts Guilty verdict without a defence by the Club The ultimate sanction without consideration of the other seventeen available punishments No right of appeal, completely contrary to Scots Law Financial penalties if Rangers appealed to an independent court A gagging clause to prevent Rangers ever discussing this agreement All of the above so completely and utterly fly in the face of justice and the right to justice that it is impossible to see how Stewart Regan and senior SFA management can survive this totally one sided attack on a member club. It is an absolute scandal that the SFA agreed for this draft to be signed off and presented as an initial starting point on what they wanted.
  23. Have you ever negotiated a contract? If I put a first draft to a client it is my ideal scenario. It's that simple. This was the SFA and SPL jointly agreed, legally drafted ideal scenario. This is what they wanted and what they thought was right. It's actually astonishingly poor if they received legal advice on it. You'd assume they did as it is legally drafted. It is so one sided and clearly being used to hammer someone else I'd be amazed if it stood up in court. It falls foul of Unfair contract terms in so many areas as to make it not worth the paper it's written on.
  24. Nonsense, it shows clear intent on the part of Regan and the SPL. The fact they used lawyers to draft this in the first place shows its what they want. It was suicide for them to put this in writing without Rangers first agreeing to the sanctions.
  25. This is not only a national scandal, it is the second biggest scandal in Scottish football (after the child rapes and cover up at Parkhead). The CEO of the SFA must be asked to comment first thing tomorrow morning. If he isn't, journalists are failing at their jobs, if he doesn't he is failing (again) at his job.
