  1. Not sure, mines 10th May , think David Weir is the 10th of May , think I am the same year as Walter Smith also Prince Charles . ( 1948 )
  2. It is going very sore up there , 43 Dublin priests and counting .....
  3. Saw this before the Hibs came realy great . Had a wee tear , I am 22 stone Bear but some things just get to me ( no I am not a Big Jessie ). Why do we not have a founders day .... 1872 ?
  4. This guy has to be taken pity on, he got this from his mothers milk, taught by priests, his team are shyte....
  5. Any one can win one of the two cups, only two can do the treble, of the 7 we have won ,I did not see 1949 treble ,I was only one year old ,have seen the other 6 trebles. So the Treble is something that we should regard as the norm . We set the standards the rest follow us . Because we are The Rangers! so no back sliding . Onward to our next TREBLE !.
  6. Worst rangers team, you should have seen some of the teams 1968 to 1970 heart breaking some of the lowest crowd's in our history,Me I never missed a game home or away,I was just a daft boy of 20, but still supporting them now . Live the through the valley of the shadow of death (their 9 in a row ). But my father would always say:" Courage Bother do not stumble though the road be dark as night there's the Star to guide the troubled trust in G_d and follow the Gers " .
  7. Shame about the Glasweigan I always loved it on old firm days, The Clyde bar along the road was also good, but passed it a few weeks ago and it was closed and bored up,some one told me it had moved ? but where ?.
  8. CRAIGBOY9: I remember that, " a ten year old greeting !" I was in the main stand 39 year old greeting went home went to bed ,no Sunday papers ,phoned in sick Monday morning . I know I was a big baby ,but I care what happens to our team.
  9. icb: I was at that game my best mate & his dad were Motherwell Supporters we stood at passage way 13 ,when the half-time scores came through there was hundreds of Rangers fans leaving the ground (no it was not the Subway Loyal). Then as a game ended the big doors at each end of the grounds some times 15 to 20 mins be for the end were opened ,as folk left a lot of young boys would run in to see then of the game. The day that the " Thistle " gubbed the tic , there was a lot of blue noses at the Hampden that day. Great memoirs!
  10. Kplfishtank: I Was at that game, if I remember right that was played on a Sunday . It was the first time Football was played on a Sunday, because a lot of our older Supporters were elders in the Kirk & a lot of C of S ministers were blue nose's were against it being played on a Sunday. It was not my first game ,that was in 1953 against Third Lanark ,I think they got relegate that year. We won the Double that year, gubbed the sheep after replay.
