  1. You asked the question - it was answered - you didn't like it - you've put your own slant on things.
  2. Everton are the only game in town. Will he stay or will he go?
  3. It's embarrassing because by all accounts McCoist liked the look of him but couldn't put a package together - yet Hibs can? Every cunt's doing us right up the arse!
  4. Said there was breaking news on Sky regarding Jelavic and now it's vanished! WTF!!! Maybe it was the shock of the Claros news - I better go and lie down
  5. "JELAVIC GONE!!!!!!!?????? "Developments on SSN now!!!!

9. "Jelavic has played his last game for Rangers".... Jim White
  10. FFS!!! They're just repeating the earlier report.
  11. Moyes update coming on SSN after the break. Not expecting much but worth tuning in.
  12. It's all gone quiet. Any news from the Everton end?
  13. Looks like he's away back to Almeria. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/295588-juan-manuel-ortiz-to-return-to-almeria/
  14. Nice theory but I'm not buying it. Moyes was up at the last Old Firm game at the Piggery (as was Woy) and he was scouting Jelavic then. FWIW I think Jelavic will be an Everton player before the window closes. I don't have a source, this is purely my own opinion.
  15. I would rather get an out and out Striker as opposed to shoehorning a wide player in. Would still be happy to bring in Templeton and Jaager though.
  16. So what's the very latest? Is Jelavic still with us. Have we received an official offer from Everton?
  17. Sadly, we'll probably never know the real figures anyway. Everything under the Whyte regime has been surrounded in mystery.
  18. If it's true about accepting the £3.5m up front then this is really bad news. I think it's now hitting home what a truly dreadful financial state we're in.
  19. https://twitter.com/tonybarrettimes " £3.5m is the initial payment. Could possibly double." Is that really the best we can do?
  20. I think it is but I'd be shocked if we accept it. I don't think the West Ham bid of £7m was ever true to be honest. I think we're all at the stage where we no longer know who or what to believe. Very interesting 24 Hrs ahead.....
  21. Absolute meltdown over on FF. I think it's safe to say the honeymoon's over for Whyte.

  23. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/sitesearch.do?querystring=Jelavic&p=tto&pf=all&bl=on "Everton have had a £3.5 million bid accepted for Nikica Jelavic, taking advantage of Rangers’ parlous financial position...Merseyside club entering the final hours of the transfer window. Jelavic, who missed Rangers’ 4-0 win over Hibernian on Saturday..."
  24. Welcome to RM. He's a completely different player to the big pigeon flyer or doo-man as we call them up here... Big Dunc was a bit of a nutjob but I'd say Jelavic was a more intelligent player. I don't think he's capable of leading the line on his own but unfortunately we've had to ask him to do that due to the finances surrounding our club at the moment. Is he worth £8m? Some will say yes, but, for me, he's not quite the finished article and I would value him closer to £6m.- not a popular opinion round these parts.. But he's done well for us, scored goals against the mahanky mhob and won us the league. We were always a stepping stone and I'm sure most of us wish him well - wherever he goes.
  25. It's very, very difficult to make that final step up. It's not just about ability, it's about mental toughness. Only the very best tend to make the grade. It's the same across the city at Celtic and much as it chokes me to say it, they seem to have unearthed a real gem in James Forrest. Dylan McGeough's another I fully expect to hit the big time. Sadly, Wylde couldn't lace the boots of Forrest and our other youngsters apart from Ness don't fill me with confidence. It's alright saying this is the way forward but very few kids at either club actually make the grade. Focusing on youth's a romantic concept but the reality's slightly different.
