3 years is fine for someone who with all due respect, isn't exactly world renowned We've signed some absolute garbage from abroad in the last decade, so can't be throwing around 5 year deals to all and sundry
Mate, posters calling one another 'negative' is becoming a right of passage on here If someone can't handle a little negativity, a forum isn't really the place for them
Watching the Kilmarnock Hibs highlights, that guy Dayton for Killie looked absolute class. Doesn't have the foreign sounding name of an Eremenko or a Taouil but one i'll continue to monitor
Hardly my point is it? Where's the Juhasz and Cuellar money? And FYI (Orange Clement will like that one) Ugo Ehiogu was, on the whole, shit. Nobody remembers/cares because he scored against Celtic
A 32 year old released by Fulham 3 years ago and valued at £400,000 is a massive step down from Cuellar and Juhasz, no matter how people try to dress it up
Papers claimed Anderlecht would've accepted our last offer if he waived an £170,000 signing on fee or loyalty bonus or something like that, but he refused Seems hard to believe given he's still bitching about being denied the chance to join us
Considering the Cuellar deal's dead, why haven't we just put some of that money to the Juhasz deal and accepted Anderlecht's demands? I mean surely that's better than scrambling around looking for a last minute alternative? Or maybe, just maybe, we never had any intention of signing Cuellar
"get the fuk behind ur team no matter waht" is such an irritating phrase, like questioning anything the club does is the sign of a bad fan or something Anyone who puts a penny of their own money into Rangers via merchandise or tickets deserves an opinion
McCulloch actually started quite well for us. But after he was sent off for a headbutt at Pittodrie around Christmas time, his game just fell apart. The problem with a big tall guy playing as a winger is that unless you continually ping balls onto his forehead, chances are he's going to contribute fuck all. And he did.
Will Whyte tell the fans what happened to the Cuellar, Juhasz, and Goodwillie money if we sign a defender for £400,000? Will Chef avoid the temptation to quote this post and tell me how Bocanegra's a bargain and the rest were overpriced?
They were both at the club between January and June 2008 and Aaron Hughes and Paul Konchesky, who were mainstays for the next two years, were already at the club when Hangeland signed I said Fulham's defensive record was awful when Bocanegra played for them. OrangeClement ridiculed me for this statement so i came back with the stats. Simple as that. I'm aware holes can be picked in them.
I don't find myself to be overly negative either. My opinions/moods on the club are dictated by events and results. Unlike many people i could name, i don't adopt an online persona that i refuse to ever deviate from. I've got plenty of abuse for being too positive about Lafferty, Whittaker, and Bougherra, and even Edu in the final few weeks of last season.
Everyone uses stats to suit their agenda I was simply putting forward a case for Fulham having a dreadful defensive record with Bocanegra in the team, and a good one once he was replaced by Hangeland Maybe this was totally about other factors and he's actually a really good defender. But judging by the games i've watched him play in (i'd estimate around 10 times) i don't rate him and think it's yet another example of cheap, short term planning from our board
You don't even have proper opinions. If somebody says something you perceve as negative, it's like a red flag to you. I doubt you even know what you're saying half the time.
The permanently (faux) cheery, let's clamp down on any negativity mob are starting to do my tits in and making me look at the likes of yourself in a different light.
