  1. I believe this I agree If Charlie Adam can become a £5 million rated player inside 12 months, i firmly believe that Kevin Thomson will end up at an Everton or Aston Villa esque club inside 12-18 months
  2. An awful lot of people in this thread are grossly exaggerating Edu's contribution over the last 2 years. He hasn't even played half a season in either campaign
  3. Whereas big Lee has the technique of Messi and Ronaldo
  4. Really? Eagles to me is another fancy-dan in the Lee Martin mould and McArthur is not better than Thomson
  5. That is the key. To accommodate KT, Davis is punted out to the right side. Crazy. Play Steve in the middle and we are far more effective. This is a good move for us. To accomodate Walter's lovechild McCulloch, actually The depths some people will go to in order to try and 'justify' this transfer are staggering I agree, it's madness. Check the other thread mate. Now it's ok to sell him because he doesn't score enough goals! Or because no Premiership teams came in for him, he won't be a big loss. Whilst others claim he turned down a phantom new contract! Some people have gone into denial mode very quickly with this one

  7. Yes mate everything is perfectly fine. Mowbray is Mourinho-esque and winning the title last season more than makes up for this summer's firesale
  8. He was told he won't be offered a new contract. He's 25 years old, not 35. He's moving for the sake of his career. Blame Murray, not Kevin
  9. Burke still had 6 months left on his contract, we simply let him leave for free to save wages
  10. It's not going to happen The midfield will be Davis Edu McCulloch Naismith Or if Velicka plays, Davis Edu McCulloch Lafferty
  11. not a bad deal for an injury prone midfielder who hasn`t live up to his price. he showed some good flashes but didn`t do any more for the team than McCulloch did. ( selling any of the 2 would have done ) McCulloch is more flexible in different positions and is worth less on the market so thats why he`s staying I think. It`s only a good deal if Smith gets to bring in some other players. Sorry mate but i couldn't disagree more Injury prone? Bar his long term injury he's barely missed a game for us Hasn't lived up to the price? I must've dreamt the whole 'twice the player, half the price' stuff Hasn't contributed more than McCulloch? You're deluding yourself if you really believe this
  12. Anyone blaming Thomson for this and claiming he's greedy or whatever needs to get their head out of the sand before they suffocate
  13. It will be McCulloch and Edu with Davis, if he's still here, shunted wide right again
  14. Graeme Smith Steven Smith Christian Dailly Brahim Hemdani Barry Ferguson Pedro Mendes Charlie Adam DaMarcus Beasley Kevin Thomson (pretty much) Nacho Novo Aaron Niguez Kris Boyd And yet some people still insist that all is ok! Shame on you Mr Murray, shame on you
  15. Didn't play enough games and made a complete howler against Greece that pretty much undid his good work before that
  16. Casillas Ramos Puyol Mertesacker Lahm Khedira Schweinsteiger Muller Xavi Sneijder Forlan
  17. We have a history of signing players out of left field with virtually no speculation in the media (Hemdani, Svensson, Cousin, Rothen) Be patient
  18. I'd rather Ally than any of the realistic alternatives
