Gow is a player we could use as he is not only pacey and skilful but can create chances which we need a player to do for us but I doubt we will see him play for us again. -
Van der Meyde is a shout but not sure if he is even a shadow of the player he was anymore though

It wouldn't be impossible to get a move to another premiership club so he won't look north of the border.

Definitely the right time for him to go, there is no room for him in the team no and he is not performing at the level that warrants altering the team. He has been one of my favourite players but I think it is time he was leaving. -
I think it was fair, he has served us well over the years and now it looks like potentially benig his last season he should go out on a high.
