    your missing the point.

    very few players especialy wide players are lucky enough to play where they want week in week out.

    laudrup never got to what makes you thin weiss a player who couldnt touch him will?

    I think you're missing the point here . To claim that a player who may excell in his preffered position , may not have a " top flight career " , because he doesn't excell in another , is absolutely ridiculous .

    Vlad may never have what you consider to be a top flight career , but it will be down to the lack of talent , not lack of ability to perform out of position .

    first thing i said was he was motm.

    so he could play another 500 matches in his career in the role he played today , be man of the match in every game , but never have a top flight career because he can't play on the left as effectively ???????????

    bale has already played 2 positions alot.

    Haha, still on this bale talk . 12 months ago bale wouldn't have got a game for rangers . It's only since he has been given a run of games in his natural position that he has shown his undeniable talent . I'm sure harry redknapp would quite happilly never play bale at left back again .

    The same goes for weiss . Why should he ever have to be comfortable playing on the left , if he can perform well in his natural position ?

    bale is young and on a whole other level to weiss.

    beckham played in the middle alot

    giggs on the right and the middle alot.

    lennon is shite.

    at least two of your players just prove my point.

    you my man , are crazy . Beckham didn't play centrally till much later in his career . He made his name as one of the best right sided midfielders in the world . And the same goes for giggs . He made his name as a left sided winger . Not someone who was a left winger who could also play on the right . As for bale , are you saying he better learn to play on the right if he wants to make it to the top ?

    We played 1 up front today and scored 4 goals, playin 1 upfront isn't always defensive you know.

    We played 4 in midfield with 1 playing off another 1 . And yes, we played well . The post I was replying to suggested playing a holding mid with four in front . Leaving a lone front man . I'd be happy to use the same system as today , but not the system in the earlier post .

    wrong . How many times did beckham play left mid ? Or giggs play on the right ? Or Aaron Lennon play left , or bale play right ? You don't have to be able to play a number of positions to make it to the top , you have to be able to play 1 position very well !

    Disappointing again imo. Seems to find it hard to take any control of a game. Never seemed to be in the game today. Hutton and Ness look more promising. Still young all the same so plenty of opportunities to come.

    are you seriously judging ness after about 10 touches in the first team ? Fleck done well today , the whole team took their foot off the gas after vlad went off . If you were expecting him to produce what vlad had then perhaps you are expecting to much . Fleck is a decent player with a bright future , maybe it's just that he's never going to be the stand out match winner some were led to believe he would be .
