He is a good prospect, with great skill on the ball. I would personally want to keep him as history tells us £2m is going to be swallowed and no real benefit to the club until we get rid of the overpaid players and management.
Keeping Lewis, means we stand a better chance of A) Attracting a decent manager and B) Attracting decent young players when the new manager proves he trusts youth
Selling Lewis, means we put £2m in the bank and never see it again.

This is the 3rd petition I have signed on this matter.
Sadly, they just seem to fall on deaf ears.
If it makes you feel better, I have created two petitions in my lifetime. One was to sack PLG after he binned Barry Ferguson and PLG was sacked a week or so later. The other is this petition.
Back then with PLG, I ran a popular site and had clout. I am now hoping for RM Bears to be heard on this one.

It's like the whole forum is a petition, and each new thread is a signature upon it.
It might be like that but what we need is those signatures to be made in a central location, to let the powers know our feelings. The voice should then be heard in echo to the written protest.

I do not normally resort to petitions but I am afraid that the day has come to play the boards hand and we need to prove to them that we want action. Be it an Ibrox protest or signing a petition, please act.

This is a pathetic attempt from the media to sell news. They have read our desire to replace Ally and put two and two together and got a spunk load of shit!
If Ashley thinks the fans want Alex and Stuart, he must be a numpty and we know he ain't. That and the fact McLeish is contracted as a manager and no owner would buy out a contract for a director of football.

The OP of this thread is having the piss taken out of his thread because he mentioned Bill Leckie and the fact he got it right in his report, yet on other threads the media/reporters are getting slammed for not getting it right.
Bill Leckie got it spot on and in a complete twist from the STV thread, he nailed it when he spoke about our fans asking the board to fire Ally. No mention of Rangers fans singing his praises.
Don't worry about that, though, just you rip the OP a new one for daring to start a conversation on an article in the media.

If the tales of £10m coming in January, I would suggest Ashley puts £1.5m of that in now and gets rid. The new manager can have £8.5m and I bet he finds some gems with that.

GOAT has his opinion and as the holder of the money being spent at Ibrox from his wallet, he deserves to makes a stance. It might be to the benefit of the club, but it will prove to Ashley and co that retaining Ally is not what the fans want.

I think Ally feels he will come good and I think he would but it is an anal thought when your job depends on it. That said, Clark has been as bad and he was prolific with QoS.
