No Lundstram is a shock for me, thought he was an absolute stick on.

Lundstram is an absolute stick on to start, he’s been one of the better performers in the last 2 games.

Cant and wont argue with that. All i’d say is in relative terms from previous seasons and considering the players we needed and imo still need, I expected more of an outlay. That may be me being stuck in the old days or being unrealistic, but for me the window started well and ended underwhelming.

I understand that mate but given the size of the overhaul we were talking about pre season and what we expected, we’ve spent peanuts. GVB spent about £2M less on a team off the back of a European Cup final. Barring one season, we’ve spent £10M+ since Gerrards first season. We’ve hardly broke the bank. This season required sizeable investment and for me, that just hasnt happened.

Some players have remained, there’s no shock in that. I’m not saying he’s got it spot on, i’m saying its too early to tell. It’s certainly far too early to be conceding titles and sacking managers imo.

This is the first Beale’s been able to field the teams he wants, good or bad, he’s had the summer window and money to spend so this is now his team, and his necks on the line. This is a new look squad, you’d at least acknowledge that?
