my ratings would be-
shagger-7
whitt-6
bougie-7
bartley-6
papac-8
weiss-3
davis-8
edu-7
laff-6
heally-6
jela-8
wylde-7
fleck-5 played well but only had about 15mins or would have rated higher
foster-4
man of the match - davis
-
i actually thought edu was ok yesterday compared to what hes been like the
last few games. wylde did well and is direct and will hit the byline, what
weve been crying out for for yrs. however i dnt expect to see much of him unfortunately
davis and bougie seemed to be back in form along with sasa, surely this cant just
be a coincidence that weir was dropped and they all play well.
it wasnt the best performance though as i dnt think we ever needed to get out of
first gear to win the game. after scoring early it was like a walk in the park for the majority of the match.
the team seems to be atleast getting back into some sort of form and can only help us out in the run in too win the lge.
the acid test is wed night and we need a gd performance and win after the last 3 of games so i will wait until then b4 i judge if we are turning the corner.
-
championship players think there fucking superstars and as soon as we
show interest they will be expecting 20k a week.
we need to scout countrys in eastern europe, south america, scandanavia, belgium, holland ect ect ect
plenty of real good players in these lges.
-
my ratings would have been as follows-
shagger-8, no fault at goals and had 2 excellent saves.
foster-7, played big part in both gers goals.
bougie-5
weir-5
bartley-6
papac-5
davis-7.5
edu-6
whitt-6
fleck-6
edu-8
we didnt play well in all honestly, but our fight and dig was back and that carried us through. was a much better team performance than sunday.
the result i.e. getting through makes you forget that we didnt play very good imho.
however seeing the spirit and fight back is what gives me the best optimism that we can turn our shady form around.

:mcgregor:
:whittaker: :bougherra: :bartley: :papac:
:weiss: :davis: :edu: :diouf:
:healy: :jelavic:
is that the official line up????
fucksake i just realised this is saturday.
heads up my arse, need to stay aff that booze lmao
-
imo davie weir has alot to do with it however over the last 2 months.
papac- looks preoccupied, been poor, think it could be to do with no new contract yet.
whitt- defensively is shocking, gets beat far to easy and is always diving in.
bougie- i honestly think he is trying to carry the team on his back too often. trying to help out attack wise too often and concentration isnt what it should be.
also both bougie and papac seem worried abt covering for weir and its effecting there own jobs.

What is the reason for this game and why is it at wembley
Ye great idea, let's get spanked in London by brazilians for nae apparent reason
The sfa are super clever
Can we not withdraw our players for this ridiculous game so we can fit a game in?
I can see 2008 happening again
Far too many games to fit it
money is the reason m8, any 1 who plays brazil in a friendly gets around 1mil quid,
due to deals brazil have with nike and tv stations
-
unless we get bought i dnt think he will have much choice but to play some youngsters.
hopefully ness/wylde/hutton can take the chance when it gets given.
-
it pains me to say that ive never seen any of this ability most ppl say is there.
the playing out of position just dosnt cut it for me as i would have still expected him to have had a few decent good games no matter where he plays.
for instance charlie adam was never a left winger but thats we he got played.
yeah he had alot of bad games but he did have some very good games and you could see he had the ability,
but with fleck i dnt see anything.
i hope the wee man proves me wrong but i dnt think he will ever be rangers class
-
i thought he had a decent game. infact i will say hes done good in all the euro games.
we all know he isnt the best talent wise but he has pace to burn and seems to also be able to add the odd piece going forward.
ppl see things diff. for instance some think whitt played well, but i thought he was pish as per usual. always dallying on the ball and lost it numerous times in our own half. just lucky we were not punished for any his poor play.
also i dnt think foster had any blame in the 2nd goal, it was all papacs fault and the cross was a very good 1 which left foster with no chance of getting there first.
-
fuckin get in there
finally abit of fight and battle abt us.
wasnt the greatest performance wise but was nite n day compared to sunday.
1 negative, whittaker needs dropped now, he is an accident waiting to happen
dwelling on the ball all the time.
lost a ton on the game but am happy as a priest in a nursery.
no surrender
-
you'd feel a right diddy if you voided it then we won!
Although you'd take the win over the money I'm sure.
if i knew voiding it would get us the win, id do it in a minute.
infact a would let them keep ma ton aslong as we win.
but that would be bribery.
-
You can m8. Iv done it a few times before. U just open the live chat and tell them you want the bet to be void and they do it as long as the game hasnt started.
its cool m8. i still have faith we will somehow pull this out the bag.
were due a good result.
hopefully it comes tonight and i will win on 2 counts.
fingers crossed
-
You will be able to void the bet and get your money back if u wanted.
no online ye canny m8.
no often ye get the rangers at 9/2 to win so might aswell have a bash.
thought with weir supposedly gonna be missing he would have to attack abit.
oh how deluded i really must be thinking that.
no surrender m8

dier team selection.
instead of growing a pair, he puts out what must be the most defensive. lack
of flair and attacking players of a line up ive ever seen.
wish a could get the ton i put on us to win back fae the bookies.
hope somehow this line up puts up a fight and surprises me, but i think its going to
be another soul destroying night from us.
-
i think yous will find that all the teams being talked about play 4-2-3-1 not 4-5-1.
playing a flat 5 across the middle makes it defensive u need the right mix of
attacking players and defensive players to make it work. for the record
i believe we have the players to play the 4-2-3-1 system if walter has
the balls to set it up properly.
-
weiss was training in the willie vass pictures.
-
hate the teams OP selected and btw Lafferty will be our lone striker.
This should be in the official SL thread anyway.
didnt notice the official sporting thread. sorry.
as for you not liking my teams. fair doos.
i know smith wont play them im just saying how i would go and laff certainly wouldnt
be in any team i named
-
ok heres my team to face sporting.
it can be adapted to 3 plans depending on how the games going.
shagger
foster bougy papac wylde
whitt bartley davis
weiss
healy diouf
weiss playing a free role moving from wing to wing to get on the ball as much as he
can. bartley sitting back to let the full backs provide the width.
plan b
shagger
foster bougy papac wylde
whitt davis bartley diouf
wiess
healy
switch to this if we are getting tore apart in wide areas.
shagger
foster bougy papac wylde
bartley
diouf davis whitt weiss
healy
yous this if we can get a couple of goals lead.
it can also be adapted into a 5-4-1 5-3-2 3-4-3 and many other formations depending on our needs

It's Rangers for me, if you're no' a Ranger, yer no use to me!
Bluenoses are born, not manufactured. We do not choose, we are chosen. Those who understand, need no explanation. Those who don't understand, don't matter.
The Rangers are for life, win, lose or draw - I was born and I will die a Ranger!
Today it's officially been confirmed that Ally McCoist will be the new Rangers manager as of the 2011/12 season. No matter our opinions, it's been confirmed - the future of the club in this sense has been sorted out, and we can now move on.
I was born in 1984, I grew up idolising Ally McCoist - my dog is called Coisty, that's how much I love the guy.
Alistair Murdoch McCoist, MBE. 581 games, 355 goals for The Rangers.
As a player: 10 League titles, 1 Scottish Cup, 9 League Cups, 2 European Golden Boots, Rangers Hall of Fame.
As assistant manager: 2 League titles, 2 League Cups, 2 Scottish Cups... to date (we are still in four competitions).
He's not only one of us, but a Rangers legend, something we could only dream of.
Remember that famous saying...
That pretty much sums up Ally McCoist's Rangers career so far, and let's hope it continues from now until the day he leaves the club for good!
Watched his interview today, and he spoke very well.
That part stood out - hopefully he is his own man, but no matter what, he needs our backing, and I'm sure he will get it.
It's nearing the end of February, we are still fighting for four competitions - it's not been going our way as of late, but one result, one performance, can change that around. It starts on Thursday.
It's time we all stuck together. We have a part to play, just like the players and management. We have trophies to win - let's get it done, then we can welcome one of us, a club legend, a True Bluenose, into the managers office.
There is a battle to be won, we'll be up for it!
-
Oh ffs We have NOT (with exception of CL) LOST anything this season - so why will it take us 1 -2 years to GET BACK TO winning ways - oh dear!!
look at our squad ffs.
realistically we have-
shaggger
alexander
whitt- not good enuff
bougie- last yr of contract
papac
broadfoot
edu- piss poor
mcculloch
davis-last yr of contract
ness
naisy
laff-joke
jelavic
thats what we will be left with in the summer when loans ect have finished, i know i havnt included fleck/hutton/wylde ect, but they havnt played enuff 1st team games for them to be considered yet.
so no matter what the outcome of this season brings there is a major rebuilding job needed.
-
you cant let ally take over the now. its madness
if we dnt win the lge he would be blamed, when the players on the park were picked by
smith.
no matter my opinion of smiths tactics/selections ect. he must see this season
out and let ally have a fresh start from the summer.
-
when were these bitch slapping incidents???
can youn plz inform me
-
Much rather this than a PLG-esque appointment!

i wouldnt say 2nd div, but we are not as good as a top 6-8 team in any the worlds
big lges at the moment. but we need to accept this as being in scotland there is
no way we can financially compete with teams from the bigger lges.
