is it so unbelieveble that ellis may just want in as he realises that in a few yrs scottish football may pick up

just because his main business in developement means nothing.
all owners of clubs have a main occupation that isnt football related.
imo getting rangers for 30mil + putting in 20mil =50million
i believe a healthy rangers in a better financial time will be worth a good deal of money,
and whyte and ellis see us as a sound investment that in maybe 5-10yrs will make them a good profit when they sell

i only support rangers,
but theres a few teams i like, as in look out for results at weekends ect.
1 is southampton as when i was younger i thought le tissier was an unbelievable player.
i kinda like bayern aswell, think that goes back to the close and excellent matches we had with them in
the late 90s.
theres others but i dnt support any of them, my heart is 100% rangers.

tbh, I'd have been inclined to support Pol Pot over SDM at times.
pol pot wouldnt put up with the shite aimed at us on a weekly basis from media/government ect ect ect

champions lge money ect dosnt come in untils the end of the season.
debt will always rise slightly b4 it is corrected at the end of the yr when all money/turnover has been counted.
we are on target to have reduced the debt to 21-22mil when the yearly figures are released.

i know he is a very successful man.
but a man doing a job which must consume a gd deal of his time for free, says to me that his intentions
are purely what is best for rangers and he is doing because he has love for our club the same as us fans.

AJ knows more than most what is going on mate, he is a bear he wants the best for our club he dosn't get a penny for being our chairman and he dosn't want any. I think he knows how near this deal is ready to get concluded and how bad our situation is he is pushing it over the line. Wonder how emotional Murray is just now after 22 years giving the club up.
i thought aj would be paid well for being chairman? i dnt see him doing it for nothing

on a side note, STV just reported that we are closer to 29 million in debt than 22 million. are thay just talking shite i assume?
the debt has went to 29million.
but-
we have 5.2mill cash in the bank compared to just over 500k in june
we are still due payments from tv/uefa/sponsors/gate receipts.
when the figures are all in and the yearly results are posted the debt will be around 21-22mil.
the reason the debt rises is because alot of the football finance is paid throughout the season and not in 1 go at the beginning.

Im new to this forum stuff, never really post usually just read the comments for any info etc, And no im not a taig if anyone doubts this i can pm u my seat details and i will happily meet u tmorow to prove this...Right with that out the way, my point is with all the bad press we recieve and no one defending this from the club, we are bound to have some pretty high profile supporters in that i mean lawyers/soliciters etc,basically what im saying is i am a painter and if they needed volunteers to paint ibrox i would happily give up some time for the love of my club. So with the amount of pish spouted about us recently why dont supporters in the high positions in our country not start fighting back against this bias one sided reporting. Basically what im saying is its time to take a stand against these bastards and somewhere in our fanbase there will be people that can do this...Look what one lawyer is doing for them they are bulletproof...If i was a politician u would have to shoot me to shut me up...Come on get involved and fight back...

people are missing the point.
rangers used a "LEGAL" loophole, get it "LEGAL"
the law has now been changed, but what the hmrc is trying to do is say we broke a law that didnt exsist.
i fully expect rangers to win the case, and i believe whyte does also or he wouldnt be trying to buy the club atm.
hmrc picked rangers as its experiment case as they think because we have money problems atm we
would be an easy target.
i honestly dont fear this investigation.

surely with them holding the financial reports up, they must truely believe the deal is going to happen
within the next few days. or they would just go ahead and release the figures and save any
penalty being handed out at all.
with aj on his way today and whyte/ellis supposedly arriving in glasgow today also, the deal must be
closer than the media are willing to accept.
well thats what i take from whats being said today.

The takeover was meant to go through today, and the figures were to be released showing the debt having been cleared.
Due to a couple of minor hitches, the deal may be held up for a day or two, meaning the debt being cleared can't be shown in the figures.
So once the deal is concluded in the next couple of days, the figures will be released, with an amendment to them explaining the situation with the debt.
I know that all sounds simple and straight forward, but that's probably because it is!
do the accounts not need to be released today by law???

I'm not sticking up for Murray here. He's just about fucked our club over for good, but he's doing the right thing making sure it's not just anyone taking over. The clubs best interests in the long term have to come first.
i believe murray would always have rangers best interests at heart, no matter what ppl think of him.
i know he has got us into this shit, but i firmly believe the only reason that happened is because the arse fell out of mih,
but lets not get into that.
