  1. As I stated when I joined up here, I normally frequent FF. Given though the magnitude of current events and their importance to the future of our club I decided to look in and gauge the consensus of opinion. Especially import in my opinion as at least in the short time we need relative unity amongst the fan base. Your opinion seems somewhat intransigent though, especially considering that you demand that Dave King does what the current board did not before he can act in (what he believes to be) the best interests of our club. Worse still, you seem to believe he's actually trying to harm our club. Frankly your post staggers me and gives me genuine fear whether or not the club will ever recover from its present predicament. We should side with the Arab, The Sheep and The Morton men (who still employ Toxic Jack) over a Rangers man supported by King Richard?
  2. Fan Power has been prevalent throughout the recent process which has ended(?) with the premier club in the country being removed from the top division and placed on the very bottom rung of Scottish Football. Driven by spite and jealously the fans of SPL clubs who voted have flexed their muscles and attempted to kill off our club based on hearsay, accusation and conjecture. Utterly oblivious to their own hypocrisy they have demanded their pound of flesh and have got all that they asked for and more. They disregarded the effects on “their own” in favour of inflicting the maximum amount of damage on their perceived nemesis. The TV deal that keeps their clubs afloat is now gone, the league and domestic competition sponsors will follow shortly after or at the very least will renegotiate extremely reduced terms for the “honour”. The downsides apart they are feeling very smug and content with themselves because their demonstration has put the hated Rangers in what they feel is our place. As Rangers fans we now have a unique opportunity, a once in the clubs lifetime chance to demonstrate to these cretins what Fan Power really is. To show them what a fan base united in its love and defence of their own club rather than the hatred of others can really do. The next 4 years are crucial for the future wellbeing of the club, how we as fans perform during this period will have a huge impact on the future of our great club and as supporters we have the chance to be written into the clubs history in a manner that no previous generation of fans had the opportunity to do. There will be an inevitable decline in the quality of the product and the players on the field, we must ignore this. There will be an associated decline in the achievement of honours, this too must be ignored. Regardless we must follow on, our money continuing to flow through the turnstiles for a product that falls way short of the standards to which we are very much accustomed will demonstrate that love of your own is a far more powerful and unifying force than hatred of an enemy. Those who have wronged us and will not be forgotten, we will have our revenge on most. Some will disappear before that revenge can be delivered by us thanks to their own short sightedness and stupidity. For others we will have the satisfaction of delivering the fatal blow personally. Rangers fans will never forget nor forgive the attacks on our club and never again will we subsidise their existence. Rangers will not die, we as fans will not allow it and no matter the forces ranged against us we shall overcome to ensure the continuation of the greatest club the world has ever seen. We will not rest until our club has taken back its rightful place. To paraphrase a famous sporting commentary, Scottish Football, brace yourself……………….The Rangers are coming, The Rangers are coming.
  3. This is the biggest issue for me, there must have been near 50 threads on the protested started that then got chopped, not locked, just deleted with no explanation. If FF admin are opposed to the protest, then that's their choice, but what they're doing is making the choice for everyone on FF and denying them the chance to form their own opinion. FF Admin, could start a thread on the protest, put in the details and explain why they are against it, then let the punters make up their own minds. Instead they're choosing to operate the site in a similar manner to google china.
  4. Currently 50/50 here. On FF its 42 No, 13 Yes. We must be more divided there than here
  5. I did, that's the two message boards I'm a member of, I posted the same poll there. I'm aware of the dislike between personalities on both sides and of some of the reasons. But certain issues are big enough that personalities shouldn't come into it and we should be putting on a united front.
  6. There's a lot of guys on FF, myself included, who will be attending the protest, but it could be many more but for the fact that some or someone on there is doing a very thorough job of killing all mention of it.
  7. Specifically the Protest of the BBC - which mentioning on another site results in thread deletion. But in general, we seem incapable of putting out a single view amongst all the fan groups on assorted issues. Be it ego's, personal dislike whatever, when was the last campaign or last issue that saw the support united 100%?
  8. Simple question, specifically related to the various fan groups, organisations and message boards. Is there a question out there that could possibly result in all of the above agreeing on a simple unified answer, or will we always be divided into cliques and factions no matter what?
  9. Sorry, I must be that used to lying about an extra 3"
  10. No idea, there a you tube vid, not very impressive one, 6' 7 Striker/Winger apparently
  11. Now that sir, is a good post. - If your biforumal I think the boys in the Bear Pit would appreciate reading that too.
  12. There's two sides to this, AJ may genuinely believe that Whyte and his plan are not in our best interests and therefore felt the need to speak. AJ may be ensuring that the fans know that he was against the sale to Whyte and therefore not guilty by association if it does go breasts up. Personally, I think he should have kept his own counsel as we're now stuck with Whyte whether we like it or not.
  13. My only view on the divide between the "two sides" I posted when a couple of the Admins from here posted in a thread on the trust, what I said then you can read by searching for the thread on FF. My memory's not the greatest so I can't give you a word for word but basically it was embarrassment at the fact that in this time in our history, of all times, the support was dividing into factions/cliques. Follow Follow won't stop me being a member here or vice versa. I only posted my username as I assumed it would make life easier for the guys who'll be determining whether or not the new guy (who signed up last night - of all nights) is a Timposter. Ps FF server was down and I was guesting over here when I saw this thread and felt the need to post.
