Didn't Vettel win the last 7 races last season?
Yeah, but there's been a lot of changes to the cars and Red Bull's car for this season doesn't seem too impressive, albeit a slight recovery today.

I hope Ferrari have a good car. Alonso was great in a car which was way off Red Bull, Mercedes and Lotus's last year. Raikkonen and Alonso though, will they work together?..
Possibly, but I really doubt it. Team orders will be right out the window for a start. None of those two will bow to the other.
Who do you think will score more points by the end of the season? That will be an interesting fight but Fernando will probably finish higher.
Lewis and Fernando are probably the favourites for the championship with Kimi and Rosberg in with a great chance also.

Not long now till the season starts.
Hopefully this is the season Hamilton finally wins another championship.
Red Bull seem to be really struggling at the moment which is good for those bored with them winning.

Its a league started on the pie and bovril forum but it needs more Rangers fans in it!

Microsoft have announced a price cut for the Xbox One... Now down to £399 + a free copy of Titanfall
Might get them some sales. Must be worrying for Microsoft that they've been unable to keep up with the sales of the Playstation 3 in 2014.
As for the Playstation 4, that console has had almost double the sales of the Xbox globally and when the sales figures are reported for the recent launch in Japan they could be leading the race by 4 or 5 million.
Interesting to note also that when the weekly sales were reported last week for Europe the Playstation 4 had almost six times the amount of sales the Xbox One has. Ouch! That explains the UK Titanfall bundle then.
In that same weekly report the European sales had the Wii U less than 1000 behind the Xbox One.

Not impressed with Titanfall.
Invisibility, auto-aim guns and stupid bots ruin the game.
And not 1080p.
It will sell well but its not a great game.

i couldnt live without Fable and rumours are that the next Fallout will be Xbox only seals the deal.
Fair enough.
Exclusives don't really seal the deal for me as most games I get will be multi-platform and I don't think its worth sacrificing the quality of a lot of good games for the sake of a few exclusives.

You forget people have played the Alpha test very recently and the general census is the game is amazing. Games journalists have been playing it for over 8 months...guess what...again the census is....amazing.
Gaming journalism is a farce. If they aren't being paid to praise a game they are praising them anyway for fear of not being sent games to review.
Titanfall is Call of Duty with tonnes of bots running around. Boring.

Not really.
I know it won't be a good game.
And thats not good for gaming overall because I fear multi-platform games could potentially suffer if Microsoft convinces devs to ensure their games are equal on both systems. (Not Titanfall, of course, as it won't be out on Playstation. But still.)

I wouldnt be able to stay loyal to a console which was far weaker and more expensive though. Its all about getting the best value for money as a consumer at the end of the day.

Agreed. And the latest Xbox doesn't seem to be much of a jump in terms of capability, hence all the multi-platform games being far better on the Playstation 4.

it's emphasis is on gameplay with tons of stuff happening on screen with hopefully 60fps.
I doubt it will be 60fps and I think Xbox gamers will get bored running around after bots. The game is almost a certainty to be a huge disappointment.

I dont think you know how a laucnh works as your post does not make any sense, The sales numbers are purely down to both consoles being sold out hence both consoles would of sold a lot more had they been available. The Xbox One sold out 170k allocated to the UK in 24 hours and you dont think it would of sold 250k had they been available? If the stock was readily available they would of shifted 500k easy.
No they would not have but you are entitled to your opinion.

Both consoles could of sold 400-500k no problem if the stock had been there!
Not too sure about that as the previous record was 185k. (set by the Playstation Portable)
The Playstation 4 may have got closer to 300k-350k but its doubtful whether Xbox One would have passed 250k or even the previous record of 185k given so many more people prefer the Playstation 4.
It was obvious the Playstation 4 was going to out-sell the Xbox One as its the better console with better games but the ratio of this heavy defeat is still quite a surprise.

Playstation 4 the fastest selling console of all time in the UK with 250k sold in 48 hours.
The Xbox One sold 150k

Well, its a home draw against not the most difficult of competition with the greatest respect so cant complain too much.
I would have preferred more SPL teams got drawn against each other though, as the next round will probably still have a lot of strong teams in it.

The Europa League format has far too many matches as is simply a money making competition, and not a very good one at that from a financial perspective. The fact teams from the better European leagues play their reserve sides affects the credibility of the competition also. The tournament has lost a lot of prestige ever since the creation of the Champions League with the vast amount of teams who now gain access to that particular competition as well.
The only way to salvage the Europa League is to 1) Limit the amount of teams who gain access to both European tournaments meaning the quality of teams would improve in the Europa League. 2) Increase the prize money. 3) Change the format to fewer groups. 4) Have 6 teams in each group with two matches against each team.

Good for multi-functionality but not the best console for the gamer seems to be the general consensus.

Dead Rising 3 (720p) for Xbox One apparently has frame rate drops which goes to less than 20 frames per second.
Disgraceful.

I don't anymore, and its never a genre that excited me too much. Bored with them now. I'll probably get the CoD thats due out in 2014 and skip Ghosts. Its shit anyway by the sounds of it but the map with the castle seems cool. I hear its a ghostland though and that you need to run around a lot before finding anyone.
Just using the CoD style of play as an example though.

Not if you're playing a game like Call of Duty for example, where both analogue sticks are the main controls.
Plus, that guys left thumb was still higher than his right thumb.

On the Xbox pad my left thumb was always higher than my right thumb which made it awkward.
Nobody drives a car with one hand at the top left of the steering wheel and their right hand at the bottom right. They use the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock method which gives more natural control and the ability to act quicker.
