  1. The final designs will need to be high res in EPS format. However for the mock up stage, rough designs will be accepted (provided the designer is willing to submit a high res final draft). The orange mock up features a recurring pattern, so it doesn't matter as much if the full design is / is not displayed (as it would be repeated over the entire length of the scarf).
  2. Not entirely sure mate, but I feel that there's enough demand to get to the next stage. I'll run this thread until Sunday evening, then start the voting poll on Monday. The poll will give a fairly accurate indication of potential sales.
  3. It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it. P.S Thanks for the PM confirming that you'll be on said committee.
  4. I'm not sure what to make of them tbh. Last season's scarf was a retro inspired design designed by TheFarmer and myself. I think that the above design is still best suited to a royal blue background.
  5. Hi mate, I use this site to upload my designs to the thread http://postimage.org/, it will give you a 'Direct Link' address which you can copy and paste into your post. I've already got a design like that, which I can upload in a sec. Edit: Something like this?
  6. As much as I like this attempt mate, we cannot use the club graphic as is. Similar problems were encountered last time around and between TheFarmer and myself we devised a copyright/IPO compliant work around.
  7. They were snatched up pretty quickly last time around. I'll add an option on the voting poll for a second batch of the blue scarf (maybe with a subtle change).
  8. Aye mate, if you click the link in my sig you can see last season's actual scarf.
  9. Please note: At this point in time we haven't designed the scarf: only myself and Spectre have submitted low resolution 'mock up' graphics. The chosen scarf graphic will be tidied up in due course. I will run this thread for a few days to allow for any other potential designs to be submitted. As a forum we will then vote on the favoured design and a payment thread will be set up. Once payments have been made I will then place the bulk scarf order (subject to a 2 - 3 week lead time). Those who purchased last season will already be familiar with this process. Cheers.
  10. Remove our stars?! heck we should add an extra one to the jersey as a tribute to us, the fans
  11. This site might be worth a shout. http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/sellshirts But you'll probably get more money if you sell on ebay.
  12. nice! Didn't they used to sell for around a quid each?
  13. It would be a good idea. I'll have a go at trying to design something in photoshop later on.
  14. It would depend on how small a run it was, but if there is enough demand we can consider a second batch.
  15. Hi mate, Sadly not, the scarves will be the same dimensions as last season i.e. roughly 1.25m long + fringes x 16cm wide. Cheers
  16. That's a belter Spectre, thanks for taking the time to submit the design. I like it!
  17. I know what you mean! Hopefully a few users (similar to last season) will submit a design. Top 3 get a free scarf.
  18. Easily mate! From last season's experience, it took around 3 weeks to vote on a design and collect payment. We then had a 3 week manufacturing lead time. I'd expect to have all scarves posted around early - mid October.
  19. As was the case last season, it will be a group decision on selecting the final design. The consensus last year was that people didn't want a scarf that would become 'redundant' within a year (I had suggested we make reference to the 150 year anniversary). However if the majority of buyers this time around want the league and division detailed on the scarf then it will get done.
  20. TBH i've not even thought about payment yet, but if we can get enough interest then I'll follow a similar process to last time. Cash / PO could be accepted, but we can discuss this via PM nearer the time.
  21. I like the idea mate and similar to last time, would want a forum vote on the final design.
